I'm very sure we will buy in January. We are short a striker already, in the NewYear we lose Gervinho and possibly Walcott.
Chances are it will be an Eduardo-esque signing: sub £10M, low wages, doing well somewhere off the radar
my argument is we should speculate to accumulate. As Jack pointed out, with a high-profile enough player you can make big fees back. We are at a key moment in our business cycle, the frontloaded sponsorship deals expire at the end of next season. This is exactly the right time to boost our profile.
Augie wouldn't be happy with Henry - I would, as a Gervinho stopgap. Even ancient he's probably better than him.
Having Henry and Neymar play together (even for a few weeks) is massive box office.

even if he does, city real and barça will be all over him. no chance for a club like arsenal
but IMO would be a mistake for Neymar to go to one of those three, chances are he'd be a sub
if he wants to acclimatise to foriegn football quickly he needs to play. I honestly think Arsenal would be his best option.
Stan won't want to dip into his pockets and will be too worried about how the American election affects his portfolio to think about football. Neymar's agents will probably just tell him the best option for his career is wherever he earns the most money.
My opinion is it would be a great signing for both Arsenal and Neymar.
I don't think it's actually likely.
