Manure v Arsenal

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If Santos doesn't play, and Theo and Giroud do, we can get a result.

If Santos does play, on the other hand...

The thing that riles me about AW asking for respect for RvP is that he knows he's going to get chants about him being a paedophile (as he does every year and has done for over a decade and a half) while United and Ferguson happily pretend it doesn't happen. Whatever you think of him those chants are disgusting and should have been stamped out in the 1990s, he shouldn't have to put up with it.

RvP is a massive :censored: and if I was there I would be making sure the chants were as disrespectful as possible. Hopefully if he starts pissing all over us it will wind TV5 up enough to shatter him into a million little pieces.

As mentioned earlier, if Wenger picks Santos, then it will be the longest of afternoons. Valancia will totally ruin him. Has wenger got the balls to play Vermalen left back - i doubt it. Our only hope is if wilshire and santi can dominate midfield and stop the threat of rooney and RVP. We will concede at least two goals or eight, just cannot see us scoring many.

Oh well another hiding in Germany on wednesday........ :banghead:

When is gibbs and chesney back?

Without any research whatsoever I can safely predict "two, maybe three weeks. Perhaps slightly longer"

And I also predict that when you ask me the same question in "two, maybe three weeks", I'll be giving the same answer then

Hey stevo i know you are missing RED so heres a post from him on the afc forum.

I will be happy for Arsenal to score a goal.

but as was the case last year before the United game we have already won our biggest game of the week by beating Reading. The League Cup is very important because the club has a chance of winning that.
