The thing is I truly wish I could say I don't even care anymore - But I was a Gooner long before Wenker arrived - and as much as I want to turn/walk away I cannot because I Love "The Arsenal".....But I agree until the french fool is gone - we will continue being upper/mid table fodder.Yankee_Gooner_Dandee wrote:how can anyone honestly blame RVP for leaving this pile of shit? He saw it coming and got out when he could. i dont even blame the players for this. its 100% wenger's fault and it will not get any better until he is gone. i honestly dont even care anymore until he is gone because its so utterly predictable.

I agree with that - and i don't think the team do either. Giroud is obviously a target man yet we don't play with two wingers, he also likes to run late into the box for a header or a tap in at either post.GranadaJoe wrote:The pundit on the stream I was watching made the comment, "This Arsenal side don't seem to have worked out what sort of team they are yet", which hit the nail on the head for me and, despite having had some sympathy for him in the past, this has to be AW's fault. Watching the game (and the one against Norwich) I had no idea how the team was supposed to be playing. .
Pod should obviously be playing behind him as the link up man or rotated with him, yet he gets put out wide.
with ox, forehead and rosicky out, the game cried out for width - but even Arshavin is a central player.
The way we should line up is with Jack, Arteta and Santi in midfield, and a striker up front supported by one winger and one wide midfielder who overlaps and tracks back to protect his full back who might overlap too. (4-3-2-1)
Theo doesn't track back neither does forehead, santos can't cross and ramsay can't do anything.
we have a decent first eleven but the squad is overloaded in the wrong positions - feo, arshavin, pod and giroud all want to play in the centre.
AW needs to make some decisions - Giroud OR pod in the middle, feo on the wing or sell him OR forehead , ox out wide midfield OR Rosicky, with jack, arteta and santi in midfield, and we need back up for gibbs.
imho we need another Parlour or Freddie who will run their socks off in midfield defending and adding width to the attack.
i can understand that there will be times when we'll need to keep it tight and that's when we should play 4-5-1 with Theo on the shoulder of the last defender, and Pod in that middle five. with Ox wide to hit them with pace on the break.
those two systems are what worked under George and under AW in the early days.

well i mean, i obviously care because i take time off of work and skip out of plans with friends/family to watch EVERY SINGLE GAME no matter what. the thing is... before the games, during the games, and after the games, i am just feeling like "meh" and depressed because I know whats going to happen every fucking game.OneBardGooner wrote:The thing is I truly wish I could say I don't even care anymore - But I was a Gooner long before Wenker arrived - and as much as I want to turn/walk away I cannot because I Love "The Arsenal".....But I agree until the french fool is gone - we will continue being upper/mid table fodder.Yankee_Gooner_Dandee wrote:how can anyone honestly blame RVP for leaving this pile of shit? in some ways that's better than getting angry every game....I'll end up keeling over one game..if that happens all please petition for Wenker to be charged with ManslaughterYankee_Gooner_Dandee wrote:well i mean, i obviously care because i take time off of work and skip out of plans with friends/family to watch EVERY SINGLE GAME no matter what. the thing is... before the games, during the games, and after the games, i am just feeling like "meh" and depressed because I know whats going to happen every fucking game.OneBardGooner wrote:The thing is I truly wish I could say I don't even care anymore - But I was a Gooner long before Wenker arrived - and as much as I want to turn/walk away I cannot because I Love "The Arsenal".....But I agree until the french fool is gone - we will continue being upper/mid table fodder.Yankee_Gooner_Dandee wrote:how can anyone honestly blame RVP for leaving this pile of shit? oh, and at least the spuds lost and chavs, fulham and everton all drew.
its a small consolation (or a let off for AW and Lazy Ivan) but should we turn it round we are not a mile behind yet.

Ferdinand has said he's surprised we didn't "come at them" and it should have been "5 or 6".

Prob don't help much. Totally flat we were. Just back from N7 and not read all the posts, but our away boys are simply the best. I salute you all.
Re: Manure v Arsenal
Just the constant, relentless, drip, drip, demoralising, horrible, frustrating, endless, downward trend in our quality. Thats all.

Not even a small consolation even if they had all lost - back a few years ago most of my footie enjoyment came from manure/victims/scum losing which, looking back on it now, was actually quite sad

Couple of seasons ago on ESPN Savage said - in reference to Wenger "I think they should get rid of him"OneBardGooner wrote:I think he's a tosser but robbie savage just saidofficepest wrote:Ferdinand has said he's surprised we didn't "come at them" and it should have been "5 or 6".

Cant remember what match it was but another shite performance and the only pundit to confront "the elephant in the room" that nobody must ever blame.
Re: Manure v Arsenal
the away fans were loud and clear on my ESPN3 stream!
very proud!
today was frustrating simply because we didnt get beat by a better team. man u did not impress me at all they looked very beatable and thats saying something considering how we've played the last month or so.
i think we have good talent....mostly (except santos, man he looks like a slug out there)....at least enough to beat the side we went up against today. to see the boys pass sideways and backwards was frustrating, they look as if they have zero confidence.

I'm sorry but that point is beginning to grate on me tbh - every single fcuking match I hear these guys singing and saluting wenger like he is some sort of God despite all the evidence saying otherwise
