Wenger:
"It was a close game with both sides playing very well.

"Overall I feel after the stick we got from Saturday's game it was important to show a great response and that is exactly what we did.
You deluded old fool :(

If he genuinely feels we played very well and it was a great response, then it just shows how far standards have dropped, I'm afraid.

Yes he is, he's the no.27. :?

Neve rmind, you've deleted you original post
nope...23:11:54CET looks like they have changed it afterwards...
We got a draw we deserved to lose even with our ace striker Walnutt, so I hope what you'resaying means nothing as we deserved nowt from that game and wouldn't want to get anything from a game because of a clerical error.

And its a good fucking job he was on hand to get Le Chapman out of the mess he somehow got himself into before scoring the opener. And what about the far post volley from Le Chapman - great chance, shit technique. Walcott score one and missed one, Giroud too. What's the difference? One thing both of them have got over Forehead is that they got into the bloody position to start with

Fair enough, let Walcott go. I won't be shedding tears when he goes.....but I will be when he is allowed to leave and Gnabry is then presented to us as the new messiah and we pocket another 8m or so for the Diamond Club boys.

Its a very sad day when I say this but Walcott is the most threatening attacking player we've got. There was a time when he'd have been the Quincy Owusu-Abeyie of the squad with his limited talents - but that time was a long time ago now.

From Henry, Bergkamp, Wiltord and Kanu.......to the class of January 2013....Giroud, Chamakh, Gervinho and Gnabry

Thing is steve o, that I dont think that anybody is talking up giroud plus what you have to factor in is walnut's demand for 100k per week - whether it is fair or not wally will be judged now on whether he warrants that kind of salary that he clearly thinks he does. In days gone by fans would look at the contributions of Bergkamp/PV4/Henry and would happily have signed off on paying them 100k per week cos they deserved it but when you look at the average performances that have been constant in feo's career with us, then it is perfectly normal for fans to expect more

No fucking way was that a strong response from the weekend like Wenger claimed. We were fucking awful again.

The fact we got anything out of that dismal performance was purely down to the incompetence of the opposition. That seems to be the main way we get results these days, relying on the generosity of the other team in one way or another.

Schalke did their best to hand that to Arsenal on a plate. Obviously the first goal was a gift ... but also their midfielder lobbing his own defenders to put Walcott in in the last minute was nothing to do with Arsenal creating a chance themselves. In between, just l like Montpellier, Schalke were wasteful with several good chances too.

There is not one single thing I enjoy about watching Arsenal right now. Im just filled with contempt for everyone within the club.

What the fuck has happened? Supporting Arsenal was always so much better than this!

I do agree that 100k per week is outrageous, yet when I hear that Wayne Bridge was earning not far off that I wonder what modern football has turned into.

The thing that worries me mate is as I said in the main post which is what we'll do when he goes. If I thought there would be a wake up moment that saw us sign Ben Arfa and Huntelaar (the latter also running down his contract and available at a knock down), I'd take it. Wenger is already talking about Gnabry like he is the new messiah though so I fear what comes next

They are highlighting on Sky, Wenger's constant berating of the 4th official. It really is cringeworthy. What was he unhappy about tonight. If anything in the first half the Schalke fans had more reasons to be pissed off as we seemed to get our fair share of the marginal calls

The one pathetic piece of refereeing against us was when Podolski was pulled up before taking a shot to stop the game for the guy down injured. It wasn't a head injury and 10 seconds later there would have either been a goal scored, corner/goal kick, or the keeper would have saved it and been able to kick it out. That was shocking and did deny us a clear chance for 3-1, but Wenger was at the 4th official long before that. What does he possibly think it achieves shouting at a bloke with no influence on the decisions?

I'd genuinely like the reporters to ask him, because he seems more interested in bitching and moaning at the 4th official than the game itself.

It's pathetic.

Surely he should be busy analysing the game or something? :? although it does explain why he makes poor tactical decisions and pre-planned substitutions... he's not paying full attention to the game!

Yep it makes me cringe seeing him do that and it really annoys me because, whether we like it or not, Wenger is representing Arsenal FC and all of us fans when he is shown on the touchline during and just after a game.

It really seems that he doesnt give a fuck about showing us in a good light though. There is the shaking the opposition managers hand thing too. Guys like Arseblogger make it sound trivial and defend Wenger when he refuses to shake hands after a game - saying its Wenger's personal choice if he wants toor not. But I dont agree. It isnt his choice when he is publically representing the club. Its his choice what he does in private ... I just wish somebody would tell the arrogant prick to show some class. Not too much to ask for the £7m a year we pay him is it?!

And if its because he cares so much then I wish he would prove that he really cares by fucking off and letting someone else manage the team.

He's an employee of the arsenal and must act in the right manner no excuses, he should always shake his counterparts hand....nor wonder our players act the way they are with his shadow of leadership, the continued excuses, lack of foresight and drive to stretch our performances even with piss poor talent...moyes can do it but wenger is still dining out on the invincibles!!!!! :censored: :censored: :censored:

The same fucking idiot who's just returned from his second UEFA touchline ban spends the entire 90 minutes doing the retarded penguin routine to the fourth official. Oh how I despise him so. :banghead:
