FULHAM HOME GAME

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Celtic are shite. If you want to watch Scottish football every week then be my guest
Why, do you have it on your TV?

It's a deal, LDB's gonna get a couple of crates in and we'll all pile round his for an all-dayer on Sunday kicking off with Hibs v Dundee Utd at 12.45

My post was not in praise of Celtic or Scottish football. However, it was a valid point on how to defend, which we can't do just now. even with international names in our backline!!!

Celtic hardly had household names in their defence, but because everyone knew what was expected of them, they got just reward for hard work and determination. Yes we did beat Barca, but we couldn't protect a two goal lead in Germany.

Maybe if we got back to the basics of good defending, we would!

I'm quite looking forward to this tomorrow, I'm fully expecting a struggle and a spikey atmos to boot, with Wenger getting alot of deserved angst and abuse. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

We'll display it in abundance when we draw with Fulham and lose to Spurs then show tremendous character to battle to a 2-1 victory over the might Montpellier.

Clinging on for a 2-2 draw after being 2 goals ahead takes some real mental fortitude. It also provides a great basis for excusing an insipid display four days later.

I'll be in Phibbers after the match, so if anyone fancies joining me for a pint it would be great to meet you, pm me for my number. Chunky and Percy will most likely be with me so a good chance to meet a few online gooners. :barscarf:
