I had a groin grumble on the walk back home from this shit, on Talkshite they had breaking news from the E********s, and said Arsene Wenger has announced, I held my breathe, that Theo x's 2 will miss the England game due to a thigh strain :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: FUCK! What can you say about this game, we made Berbatov look like Messi, our defence, HA! non existent for a change and a whole lot of mongs all around me, cheering the gaining of a pen at the end as though we've just won the Premiership and still they clap the wankers masquerading in our shirts at the end of game. I really can't stand going anymore, I hate it over there with a passion. Thanks Arsene, Ivan, PHW and Stan you bunch of *word censored*.

I made an earlier post about how Celtic showed how basic man marking in defence could close out Barca, for which I was mocked by the "we know more about Arsenal than anyone else" brigade. I am not bothered by their supposed greater knowledge, because after today's shambolic show at the back, my point is even more valid.

What happened to the supposed tightening up at the back under Steve Bould, that dream soon died :banghead:

BSM ban expect another member very soon as I am sick of this shit :x

I did exactly the same but unfortunately my dreams were shattered. If proof were ever needed that this team has zero mental strength it was today. Another abject performance after which Wenger praised the "spirit" of the team for coming back from 2-3 down (against Fulham at home). How about showing some spirit by not throwing away a two goal lead for the second time in a week? Pathetic and shameful. I overheard one supporter say today, "of course a win today and we can forget about the recent poor results". That says so much about the modern day Arsenal supporter that attends home games. These fans are part of the problem, applauding simple passes and wayward shots - blind to Wengers failings. It goes from bad to worse and my loathing of Wenger and the Arsenal regime grows by the day.

Totally agree with your points about the clapping of a basic tackle, a simple pass and wayward shooting, it's really mad over there, I had one wanker tell me to cheer up when we got the pen.... whilst he was knocking one out in celebration, I just said to him ''if he scores it's just papering over the huge cracks'' the wanker didn't understand and still didn't when Arteta missed, he was one of the happy clappy crowd at the final whistle. :banghead:

This is exactly how I feel. I cannot even celebrate our goals any more because I know everytime we score Wenger's contract is extended by another couple of months.

Ditto, it's not fun anymore.

The best part of a game now isthe build up till they start playing.

At 2nil up in both games all I could think was shame it happened so early as we won't hold on anyway. I'm an eternal pessimist but even for me this is getting beyond the pale. :( :cussing:

My only wish tonight is that Manchester City lose at least one league game between now and the end of the season. This would mean that Arsenal 2003-04 would still be the only invincibles of the modern era. That team deserves this place in history to themselves, they understood who they were and what they represented. As for this season I couldn't give a fuck who wins the Premier League, who qualifys for the Champions League and who is relegated. Obviously that feeling will change a few times between now and next May. But if Arsenal PLC don't care anymore :( :( :(
