Ticket Pricing, Empty Seats, Box & Club Level Empties

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Removal by police of ticket price protest banner at Emirates Stadium is ‘affront to democracy’

Empty Seats/can't sell tickets

Post by gra001 »

Times are changing fast at the Emirates, been a long time season holder, have seen many of changes good and bad.
As long as weve been at the Emirates this is the 1st time i have seen so many empty seats , we are not talking a few,
we are talking hundreds.
We all know why we are always showing a full house i.e attendances 60,000 +. This year they have said(Arsenal) that
there will be more available ticket for Red members, mmm!!!! that's maybe because alot of season ticket holders are
giving there Gold card back and getting silver card as tooo choose which games to go to, people cannot afford or that are fed up with the whole thing that are happening at our beloved Arsenal club.
Tickets are been offered to none members NOW and still can't sell them, un heard of years ago, how thing's have changed..

Should also make available from next season the North Bank, the hard core of support as well as the clockend in creating a hostile attmosphere, like many other clubs do, the people that just want to sit down and not be heard!!!MOVE ELSWHERE!!!

AlsoThese people at our club at the top can see what is happening but choosing not to do anything i.e invest serious money in our Squad, and start challenging.......

Don't think you are SAFE UP THERE!!! You can't rule without the indians you MUPPETS!!!

Pleak days ahead i'm affraid Gooners!!!!!!!!

Pictures from the swansea game were awful. Jon Champion didn't stop going on about it.

You wouldn't run a business the way we do. Stanley seems to be devaluing his own product for a quick buck when we sell our best players.

The way the season has gone i can honestly see a hell of a lot of people not renewing their season ticket. When you are a club our size & you take the people that pay what we pay for granted you play a very dangerous game.

Is there money available to strengthen the squad yes the accounts show you there is personally i believe the club are budgeting for the likely event of not finishing in the virtual trophy places. The so called PTA will never be allowed to drop below a certain level to cover loss of CL revenue.

OGL is compliant to this the board are happy to let him do what he wants as long as the balance sheet stays in the black.

We come to the owner Kroenke he has NEVER sold a share yet in any of his sports teams the only hope i have for him going is that he sells us to fund the purchase of a baseball team the only major USA sport he doesn't have his fingers in.The teams he owns in the states are average & you only need to look at the cost of going to sport over their it isn't cheap do you honestly think he cares about how his overseas team is doing?........no me neither! :banghead:

I think that context here is important. The reason that there were so many empty seats in the Clock End against Swansea was because of the size of their allocation. Arsenal aren't allowed to sell 15% of the tickets as those are held back for Swansea and they only took up about 2,000 out of their potential 10,000 or so allocation, meaning that the club was left to sell 7,000-8,000 tickets in about a week with very little advertising about it.

That said it doesn't excuse the empty seats where ST members don't show up and whilst I can understand frustration with the team I would always show up and support the team no matter what and that is what I intend to do from next season.
