(In other words only buy a train ticket to Haywards Heath/Shoreham/Lewes return, the rest is covered in your match ticket, including if you get off at Brighton, have a drink, then jump on the train to the ground at Falmer.) Local busses are also included - plenty from around the station.
You will have to Change at Brighton for Falmer (10 minutes by train)
That should help, but Southern Rail has, in it's wisdom decided that this Saturday, with 4000 Arsenal fans coming to Brighton, is a good time to do engineering works on the main Brighton/Victoria line. Bloody stupid IMO
I don't live in Brighton, so am taking the train via Littlehampton/Worthing - add an hour to your normal journey time.
