Now he's arrogant, reckless and unreliable. Hares out of his box at any opportunity, fucks around EVERY SINGLE GAME with the ball at his feet and any time a cross comes in he just closes his eyes and sticks his arm out.

What does it tell you about the state of this squad that this keeper is under no pressure whatsoever for his position and that a new keeper is generally regarded as a priority lower than striker, left-back, DM and centre-half?
That has been very worrying lately - I thought he might have learned from doing it at the Bridge recently but last night when he came haring out to Henderson his judgment was miles off. Terrible decision making. He really needs a kick up the arse but with Flapper and Mannone-kokey he knows he's safe as houses
I knew as soon as that ball was played into space he was going to come rushing into the corner of my screen, he'd made his mind up before the ball was even played. You can understand the misjudgement a bit more if somebody's been played through on goal but when it's a ball thumped for Henderson to chase towards the corner flag with men back then there was zero need for him to come.

He does it about 5 or 6 times a season which is fucking ludicrous for an error that is pretty likely to result in a goal.

Yet, I can't envisage a situation where he plays badly enough to advocate dropping him for either of the back-up clowns. We are a laughing stock with keepers, as we have been for 5 years.

Agreed - if a keeper has to make a snap decision to come out to prevent a goal and the striker just nicks the ball away before he gets there, that is understandable. Chesney is coming 30 odd yards out of his goal into the full back's area to chase down wide balls where the attacking player still has loads to do. He is turning these 'not even half chances' into genuine goalscoring attempts and risking a sending off too. Really reckless that was yesterday - thankfully Henderson's attempted chip was shit because a half decent player in the CL would have taken that chance.....0-2 down and goodnight Vienna

Stamford Bridge a few weeks ago he was left on his arse by the corner flag 30 yards from his goal.

ive doubted sczneny for a long time, the stats speak for themselves, even when he was in good form, he didn't save nowehere near enough shots. This season the top stoppers are the Gk from PSG and De Gea, not surprised. Now Woj has always been confident and commanding in his box, i hope he is not picking up de gea's terrible weaknesses but without any decent shot stopping to balance it out.

I feel sorry for any player that has to come out with wengerspeak. Its a total indoctrination.

You may say anything about Chesney but he's way better than this Roma guy:

No wonder they didn't let Stekelenburg leave.
