Hmm, just back from pub. That was a pretty enjoyable game. Pity we can beat Spain and Brazil in friendlies and look hopeless against Trinidad and the likes in tournaments but still, cracking result and a decent game. For your lot Wilshere and Theo looked class, not looking forward to seeing them facing the likes of Phil Bardsley on Saturday although by the looks of that second half Walcott might not be as quick as usual since he'll probably be weighed down by still having Adriano in his back pocket. Glad to see Lampard get a goal, always liked the lad and seems a decent bloke and Rooney continues on his way to becoming England's highest ever scorer, good times and roll on the qualifiers.

PS I know its said all the time but fuck me the atmosphere is shit at Wembley, fucking Mexican waves, daft flags, what a load of plastic shit. No wonder I don't bother to travel all the way down for home games. Somehow I think the plastic flag brigade will be in for a shock if they go to France 2016, now thats going to be a proper England support!

Ashely Cole love him or hate him is the best left back in this land and has been for nearly 10 years !
Keeps himself fit and is always in the thick of any match he is involved in even if he is not playing well.
That being said he Rarely has a a bad game and isn't afraid of getting involved or going the extra mile if his team are behind.

How many players can Arsenal say that about since 2006 !

He was offered a deal by the chairman who then reneged on him but then he like many others since saw the writing on the wall long before most !

Who can say his decision was a wrong one ,not I !

Wilshere was class. Feo looked good too. I hate to see our players playing interlull games, fucking hate it. Spend the whole game going "don't get injured, don't get injured". :|

If/when Jack gets injured we are fucked tbh. :(

Chesney did ok for the Poles in Dublin last night, made a couple of good saves but lost 2-0. Both goals were decent finishes so can't blame Chesney for either.

I had forgotten just how many Poles we still have living in Dublin though! Red and white everywhere yesterday in the city. Mostly good people too - like a drink and some craic. Reminds me alot of the Oirish in New York and London in the 80's - work hard, drink harder! :D 8)

Met one family where the parents were supporting Poland and their 8 and 10 year old kids (born and raised here) were supporting Oireland. Parents had Polish accents, the kids Dublin accents!

Apparently Podolski was dreadful yesterday despite their great result.

Theo and Jack both played well. I thought Theo had fucked himself first half and should have stayed down and gone off.

Still, nice to see England time-wasting in a fucking friendly game. Showed how much more it meant to us than it did Brazil. The usual aunts will be getting carried away now, oooh we are on to something here with this group of players. Yeah, of course.
