As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
WEWEREINVINCIBLE! wrote:RVP on utd-"we have winning mentality. everyone here are winners, im surrounded by champions, im having fun"
this sums up our downfall perfectly. under wenger we have seen all the winners and winning mentality sold off! Cesc and RVP were fed up with carrying the dross. if this dont change it will ultimately lead to Jack's departure!
Yeah, it must have been hell for VanJudas carrying the dross for ONE whole season...
But in fairness I get your point, mate - and he is right. He's a judas kúnt, but he is right; we have gone from INVINCIBLES to IMPROBABLES.
Most damning thing he said was when he joined United he saw players in training that lit his spark again. When he joined Arsenal he was training with the likes of Henry, Bergkamp, Vieira and Pires and that changed. He now is learning more again. He made the right choice and I do not blame him.
If we were going to move to a new stadium then we should have kept a good team otherwise the whole thing just turned into a money making exercise.
When we don't finish 4th this season Wilshire will be sold to ensure profits & bonuses continue for Wenger, Gazidis, Hillwood, Friar & Kroenke & the rest of the "custodians"
Wilshire will leave The Arsenal way BEFORE Wenger does!!!!!!
I see the barcawhores have already started another round of bullshit when it comes to one of our players.
Pep said they had an entire team of jack wilsheres. Then fucking using them you classless wankers, don't come after ours.
But as I'd say to any AKB muppet who tries to blame the last 8 years of disappointment on "the players":
who buys them?
who sells them?
who trains them?
who selects them?
who decides formation and tactics (huh)?
who motivates them?
Yes players can under perform, but a good manager will motivate them in the best way appropriate to the player, and that may be an arm round the shoulder, it may be a kick up the backside. If that doesn't work you get rid of them. And who is it that has decided on our socialistic pay structure where everyone, good or crap, get the same. Who decided on the strategy of tying in unproven players with big pay packets? So what happens is the good ones go elsewhere to get the really top money and we are left paying for the bad ones who we cannot shift because we pay them too much? Who brilliant piece of social engineering was that?

Reminds me of Robin saying "What the fuck are you doing" at the Ox substitution last season.
Not a good sign.
Where did you hear that?
Firstly, it certainly looked like he was saying that at the time to me, and a couple of other people said the same thing on the Le Grove comments after the match.
Alternatively, he may have said "it's a fucking disaster"
