About half way down he talks about Arsenal and how well he has been treated as a youngster. And now my (poor ) translation of a key passage

Well that's rubbish for a start. This very forum is a prime example of when things don't go well, some fans turn on the players.

Unfortunately i cannot for the life of me work out why he is talking about gourds or pumpkins. I can only assume it is a slang expression or he's been watching "the Life of Brian" too much.

Now that news has broken that cesc's new agent is none other than David Dein's son I am wondering if the feel good factor is still there ? The papers, talking shite as usual, are linking that move to the fact that DD jnr brokered henry's move to barca last summer but we all know what these rags are about
