Knowing that we will never ever win the champions league with the clown in charge I would want us to finish above spurs

Isn't that what we all want? and why does it make you a superfan or a wum?
Tongue in cheek comment aimed at the likes of N1goon and sid to name a couple who seem to enjoy the silver lining to us losing. I just dont see the point in these questions, I want us to win every game so obviously i want us to finish ahead of the scum and as high up the table as possible. Likewise I want us to win every cup competition so when I'm asked whether I want to win a cup or finish top 4 it just makes me want to punch said person in the penis.

In which case you're going to have to hire specialists that are used to working down at that level. Now who from the forum could you hire? :rubchin: :rubchin:

Failure to get into Champions League means such a reduced cash flow that we could end up losing even more of our best players than we would otherwise!

Finish ahead of the vermin. Anyone that thinks that it's "small time" to worry about that obviously wasn't a football fan in the 70's or 80's. In those days THAT was all that mattered most years.

Fuck the CL. Shit overinflated boring bloated rubbish for the most part.

The CL has got boring,i would love to win it,perhaps a season without will make the club more determined to win it when we get back in.I always want to finish above the Scum 17 years since they finished above us.

None taken, obviously we all want Arsenal to win every game and we support them either way. But I just ask because I'm curious what the general priority of fans are.

I know the CL is worth huge sums of money, but when your club never spends any significant money, coupled with the fact that we get our asses kicked every year in the CL (while playing weakened teams for competitions we could realistically win), the whole mystical aura of qualifying for the CL has really been lost on me.

The only joy I've gotten out of this whole season was our 5-2 against Sp*rs. I never knew the vile feeling against the Sp*rs back in the 70s and 80s, but I still love keeping them in check.

I must say though I quite fancy a crack at the Europa League - a competition we can potentially win and the standard is not as mickey mouse as is often made out. Of the 4 teams from the "greatest league in the world" 3 needed practically the last kick of the 180 minutes to go through and one went out of the first knock out round.

Bring it on :barscarf:

Seriously you need to play about 34 games to get to the final

You are forgetting how Arsene treats cup competitions. He would put out the fucking reserves on a Thursday night because he'd be so caught up in chasing that 4th place trophy all that season...
