As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He was alson on trial at the spuds but they turned him down too.......go figure
Neither of us 'turned him down' as far as I recall. He had a choice of the 3 clubs and simply chose to go to AC Milan in preference to either us or Spurs.

er steady on son.
No way are they finished, they have quality young players coming, money (loaned) when needed. They only need a few tweaks.
I know everybody loves german football, but the germans are still some margin behind, Real won't stop them considering the 16pt gap, and man utd are never going to challenge barca.
Barca are not even about to slip into a rijkaard like decline. They need some adjustments to the defensive style that has recently been adopted. I dont think they can be as patient as they are away from home in terms of tempo.
They lost David Villa due to that injury, and i still think they need a player like him or Eto'o to return to being ruthless in front of goal, especially when messi is well marked.
Barca isn't even out of the tie yet. They still can turn it round in the Camp Nou obviously. Don't forget how good players like Iniesta or Messi can be on their day.
Even after todays result:

I'm sure they'll get a little extra help at Camp Nou
