Carl Jenkinson- working hard for the team and putting in some cracking crosses- substituted off so that we end up playing Ramsey at RB.

Persisting with Le Sandwedgefoot up front when he has the scorer of 50 odd international goals on the bench comes a close second
Don't see that would have made any difference what so ever. We don't create anything. Problems are further back than Giroud.
But we were creating stuff when we had a world class centre-forward last year but no Cazorla and no Wilshere. Giroud's movement in the box is awful, he inevitably hides behind defenders and combined with the lack of runners into the box we have nobody to aim for. We actually had so much ball in dangerous positions out wide that could well had yielded two goals for a team that fills that box and has a striker with movement.
And so many times Giroud's movement was all around terrible today - their line was too high at times in the first half but instead of looking to get in behind or at least dragging a defender away he'd be standing in a completely unhelpful position.
And what about when Giroud was put through in the first half, actually brought the ball down well then was so fucking scared of pulling the trigger that he waited ages for somebody to get back and block the shot? A more clinical striker like Podolski would have got an effort away before a defender even had time to slide in.
He really is awful - bring back 'Five n Drive' Nicky B.

All the Akb's harp on about the trophies this clown has won, greatest manager ever Post 2006 Arsole Wenger is our worst ever manager, his legacy is beyond gone in my book. The *word censored* has done more damage in these last 7or8 years than all the good he did before it.

As I said in 1982 or 1984 he'd have got the boot because the CL didn't exist to reward pathetic failure. 16 points behind the best Liverpool side in history or 24 points behind the current Manchester United.

So true mate and that liverpool team would wipe the fucking floor with the manure side of today.

Don Howe was 3rd in the league when the club went behind his back and tried to replace him. Terry Neill had us 16 points off Liverpool and in 3 consecutive FA Cup finals for the first time in history
What has Lord Wankface done to even come close to that these past few years

I would suggest Jenkinson's fitness isn't up to scratch yet.
No evidence whatsoever to suggest that was the case.
I think he's played about 5 games since October for a start.
Played an hour against Sunderland and only went off due to red card. Played 75 minutes against Villa and only went off because we were chasing a goal. Plus since he was dropped for Sagna's return the only other two league games he's played he lasted 90 minutes. No need for him to go off before the hour mark today on fitness grounds, just one of Wenger's pre-meditated substitutions.
I'm not Ramsey's biggest fan but there were people out there doing a worse job than him today, likewise with Jenkinson - to change both of them was crazy.

Or Real Madrid or any top club. All the bollocks that was made out of his loyalty to the club when the reality is that he knows no other leading club in world football would allow him 8 years without a trophy.
When we miss out on the CL what little stat will he fall back on this time? The stuff about never finishing below Spurs, never losing to a team from a lower division, 13 odd consecutive years of CL Group stage qualification etc etc.....all gone up in smoke
I know.....in 16 years we have never lost by 10 goals in a game which shows 'remarkable consistency and resilience'

We'll be hearing "first finish below Spurs in x years, first season without CL in z years, Chelsea's squad cost £y million and they only finished 6 points ahead of us"
