ManUre being able to win the league at the Grove good

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I would hope he would have the sense to head straight off the pitch in the unfortunate event that they do win the title at the Grove. Big Sol showed his class by not doing it to the scum in 2004.

They look to be the only team that could possibly win something at the bowl for the foreseeable future though, :cussing:

We weren't allowed to be awarded the actual trophy at prawnville in '02
presumably the same would go for them?
Really don't understand (or even fully believe) Gooners who say they want us to lose.
Bet when kick off comes all that nonsense goes straight out the window.

Something like another team winning the ground on our patch (especially United) is one of those sacrosanct things imo (like the NLD) that rises well above disliking the manager/board/players. It will be fucking sickening if it happens.

And they wouldn't let them have the trophy thing there unless it was last game of the season. They'll probably arrange it for their last home game I would have thought.

Agreed 100%. The thought of those plastic crunts winning it at our place supercedes any dislike of the Board or Manager for me. Them winning it at our place would have absolutely ZERO benefit for Arsenal. ZERO. It wouldn't lead to a single change in personnel or policy. It would be sickening as fuck though. :|

It's pretty horrific that the first trophy to be won at the Grove wold be a Manyoo league title. Knock it down, salt the earth and move back to Highbury.

I will be there hoping to see us smash the manc *word censored*, stop them winning the title on our patch and with a little bit of luck watch Robin Van Judas get sent off for being....... well Robin Van Judas!
If we loose and they win the title, I will not be able to stomach those *word censored* celebrating come the final whistle and I will probably be well on the way home by then. With a bit of luck every other home supporter will do the same thing and we can register our disgust at another shit season by leaving the stadium nigh on empty before the 90 is up.

I absolutely fucking hate the thought of this happening, it makes me sick. How far we've fallen. What a way to round off a truly shitty season. And the worst thing about it is, nothing will change. We'll probably roll out the red carpet for them, have the champagne on ice. Wenger'll be grinning from ear to ear as he congratulates RvP on the pitch. "We knew he would be a success at Utd", you absolute utter utter moronic fucking imbecile. :banghead:

There's not a chance in hell we'll beat them. High pressure game, Utd know how to get a job done. Chauncy Wenger will pull some genius move like sticking Arteta up front & Giroud at left back. For us as fans, it's the ultimate humiliation. What a pill to swallow, watching them celebrate on our pitch. You think Wenger or the board will feel that way? Will they fuck. Extra steaks & red wine all round for Fergie & his boys in Club Level. All the while, the surrounding areas is crowded with cockney manc twats giving it the big one. Fuck. I could just about stomach them winning it if I thought it would give those *word censored* running our club a kick up the backside. If spurs winning it at our place is a hell on earth scenario, this ain't far off.

The only positive? I won't be paying to go in & watch it. Mathematicians, what needs to happen to avoid this taking place? Either Utd or City need to lose a couple right?
