Other weekend Games 13/14th April

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

They had plenty of room at the Wigan end to put out the deckchairs....just heard about the trouble how bad was it ?

i'm sure some gif file will have been uploaded by now
If it was the bindippers, we'd all be having a minute's silence next week.

Gary Lineker is a smug c**t and you can see he's just dying for Gollum and his scouse mob to turn us over on Tuesday.

Well, as a former Everton and Sp*rs player, that's hardly surprising is it? :? I'm sure the other chap in the studio (a certain mr Keown) wants Arsenal to win on Tuesday, so it kind of evens out really.

this is the third different topic I have asked this question on today...How can a manager of a club contesting a European place , or any place, be an objective pundit on TV ?????

Just watched Match of The Day and don't you just know it, old big ears is at it again. I don't understand the fuss and confusion over the penalty really when pundits, fans, managers have all been calling for shirt-pulling and wrestling in the box to be clamped down on. It was a foul, so it was a penalty. Simple. Doesn't matter that the lino gave it. Case closed. Match of the Day is a much better program now we've got Sky+. Don't have to sit through all the garbage the stale old pundits churn out every week on the other games. Have a bag of crisps Lineker and shut the f**k up!!

Agree - although I think yesterday's penalty was still a bit soft everybody is always crying that officials don't have the bottle to give penalties for blatant shirt-pulling. Yet when it gets given it's subject to intense scrutiny and criticism, and the official who gave the decision is told he should never be doing so even if he feels that he can see it perfectly well and it is a penalty.

He can't. He isn't. That said, he didn't really add anything anyway so it was pretty pointless having him on really.

It really hurts, but if Manure winning helps send down the Neanderthals, then come on Utd! Bye bye and good riddance to the baseball cap wearing prick and his team of wrestlers!

This weekend just keeps on giving.

edit: A win today would mean it's almost inevitable that they could come to our place needing 3 pts to clinch the title.

Sunderland won't go down after today's performance and result.

It's between Stoke and Villa, and I fancy the neanderthals.
