ManUre being able to win the league at the Grove good

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That would certainly be my preferred way of stopping them winning the title at the Grove 8)

I 100% want Citeh to beat Sp*rs today - the implications on where United can win the title is a distant concern compared to Sp*rs claiming 3 vital points.

I see where you're coming from, but the consequence of utd winning the league at ours will be something that will go down in history and will become a constant stick to beat us with in the future, in the same way that we sing about winning it at old trafford, white hart lane etc.... Whereas us missing out on 4th for a season might not be that disastrous in the greater scheme of things. Either way it's a shit situation for us to be in

if it is to be it might be a good thing,Wenker might at long last feel our pain, the penny may drop,it may inspire him to overhaul our squad and go full tilt for trophies next season instead of profit more so if we miss out on the VT this season,we can only dream :banghead:

It'll serve Wenger right if we have to give them a guard of honour next Sunday!

He'll enjoy every second of it mate whilst the rest of us are hanging our heads in shame watching our ex-world class centre forward celebrating with a PL winners medal. Wenger is absolutely shameless so it won't bother him one bit

It might jog his memory and remind him of the days he/we used to win trophies..... proper fucking trophies not virtual ones. :hammer:

We should be giving Arsenal a Guard of Honour for selling us Robin van Persie.
Good to see Utd fans taking the piss outta us  Without doubt, one of the most retarded decisions ever made in the history of our club. Whoever signed that one off should be fucking ashamed, in fact they shoulda walked the moment they put pen to paper.

Why? :?

Why should Wenger (or us for that matter) care about which Manchester club wins the league? :? - so what if selling them RvP gave them an edge over Citeh. Fuck 'em - the destination of the title hasn't involved us for years... with or without Van Persie!

The only way your comment makes sense is if you're suggesting that keeping Van Persie would have made us champions... and I seriously doubt you believe that

As for the guard of honour... that's just a consequence of the fixture list. Any team that draws United with 4 games of a season remaining risks having to give them a guard of honour, just like Liverpool gave us one at Anfield in 1998. It's nothing to be ashamed of because United win the league almost every year.

Why? Because, imo, it will, although I agree with most of your post, I hope it hurts Wenger, but I suspect it won't!
