ManUre being able to win the league at the Grove good

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If Man U lose to Villa, they could still be champions before our game kicks off if City manage to lose to West Ham the day before.

And if City only draw against the spammers, then Utd only need a draw at the Grove to claim the title.

No, better they hammer Villa tonight, claim the title and our little pussies have to give them a guard of honour onto the pitch at our place. Might be a good learning experience for them and spark a bit of hunger and desire.

I also think we will need to win next Sunday and if the Mancs have already won and celebrated their title, they'll be "softer" than otherwise.

Agreed 100%. Hope they destroy Villa, get the poxy thing done with. The thought of them winning it at our place is fucking sickening. And if anyone thinks our shirkers would step up and beat them on Sunday if they arrived needing a win to take the title then that someone hasn't been watching as much of our games over the last 8 years as they have been letting on, have they, JD?! :lol: :wink:

If they win it tonight it improves our chances of beating them on Sunday and all that matters to me in what's left of this shit season is that we finish ahead of the vermin. Don't give a flying fuck about the CL places tbh. Just finish ahead of the vermin. :x

Wenger just seems like a small-time manager now who just rolls over for Ferguson, like so many other managers in the league. Remember when he used to go head-to-head with Ferguson and wind him up all the time. Now he sells him his best player and is practically begging for Ferguson's approval. Absolute joke. :banghead:

Agreed. Hate the crunts with a passion but credit where it's due. Best team by a mile. Hope we do the right thing and give the bastards a guard of honour. Maybe show one last little bit of the class we used to be renowned for.

yeah, its better they come to the Grove as Champions rather than becoming Champions at the Grove..I also hope Arsenal show class and give the guard of honour on Sunday. It will hurt but that's what you get for accepting fourth best.

We really dodged a bullet on this one. They were going to win it either way, just thank fuck it wasn't them winning the first trophy at our new home. I was actually cheering the filthy cúnts on last night and ended up with some vomit in my mouth. :( :|

It's the lesser of two evils type stuff.

I felt much like a guy standing there cheering on a convicted peado as he beats the shit out of a nun, but the nun has a bombvest tied to her and if the peado doesn't beat her to death we all fucking die. :|

Or to quote a story augie told me;

"Begorrah, shoor twas loik dat toime Oi was in da prison showers and da big lad took to rapin' me. Shoor Oi had da choice of da cock up me shitter or in me mouth! Feckin' noightmare choice twas!". :shock:

:-P :wink: :wink:

Lefty, what you think of my new culchie accent? :mrgreen:
