Best Live Act You've Been To?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was down in cork that weekend too only I went down to see Aslan play the cork city hall and that was rocking.

I'm not a big concert goer as such and to me there is a world of difference between a good band/singer and a good live band/singer in entertainment value. Seen beautiful south a few times, phil collins,Aslan of course and this year am going to see springsteen in rds with the missus

Saw Robbie Williams in MK Bowl last year. He was crap. But some of the people who went with us had been before and said he used to be good.... Gonna have to take their word for it!

Best concert:
Stadium - 1 - has to be Queen at Knebworth. Someone told me since that it was Freddie's last concert  . Not sure about that, but it was a brill day and I got right near the stage!!
Stadium -2 - The Spice Girls at Wembley back in 98 (ish).... I haven't seen many stadium gigs so can only apologise for that one sneaking in  !!
Smaller venue - Eddie Grant at Theatre Royal Dury Lane, many years ago...!

I'm going with the missus to see Bruce Springsteen at the Grove in May, so hope to be able to knock Queen (or at least Spice Girls  !!) off the top spot!!

First gig was Skunk Anansie on their last tour in '99 (supported by Muse)

Best gig, maybe The Who in Hyde Park '06. That or Muse at the IOW last summer.

Best concerts i saw would be Queen and Paul Rodgers at The Point in Dublin in 2005 U2 Slane Castle 2001 and also seeing them in Lansdowne Rd in 97 and Croke Park 2005 and when Supergrass supported Oasis in 2000 at Lansdowne Rd in fairness Supergrass were better then Oasis on the day. Also seen Ash a few times and are brilliant. :D
