As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don't think Moyes would be anywhere near the top of their list for a few reasons.
- No CL and very little continental experience: tactically shrewd in PL but may well be viewed as a gamble to hope he can adjust this to CL games and managing squad with more congested fixture list.
- Done well with what he's had but ultimately only has one runners-up medal to show for over a decade's work. Also a piss-poor record against the big teams across his reign as a whole and accusations that his team have bottled big opportunities, most recently their dire showing in last year's FA Cup semi against Liverpool.
- Doing well on limited budget and knowing when to cash in on a player isn't really important at United - more worryingly signing a succession of misfiring strikers hampered Everton for a huge chunk of his reign.
Well Slur Alex did propose Moyes as the ideal man to succeed him, so that could be a factor.
Good to see that Wigan are all but down, they have been a bad omen for us as our barren run has coincided with their promotion and subsequent stay in the top flight, *word censored*.

^This. For me, Moyes is the most over-rated manager in the PL. Not saying he is not good at what he does, but he is a big fish in a small pond and he can deliver the limited ambitions of a club like Everton. Put him at a proper big club like Manure or Arsenal and he'd go tits up quicker than Jordan at a stag party.
