hmmm...

compared to utter shite we've had in our strikeforce recently like Vela, Camel, Forehead and BendyPinkBoots, I'd say Giroud is fucking brilliant.

Compared to most strikers in the PL? I'd say he's a slightly better than average striker that could deliver more if used correctly (in a fucking 4-4-2 Arsene you utter plank

) but certainly no world beater.
I've given him a year rather than whining like a mong about him from day one, and ultimately he's as good as most of the players around him in our squad, which says as much about our squad as it does about his ability. But is that good enough for Arsenal? No, not near good enough.
Of course this relates to our ambition as a club. To scrap for fourth place every year or win trophies? Giroud is good enough to help us scrap for 4th, but ultimately not good enough to win trophies. That's not to say he's a shit player, he's not, but he is just average really.
But then the problem we have is our squad is littered with average and poor quality players. If Giroud is not good enough then he joins the likes of Squillaci, Diaby, Ramsey, Arshavin, Mannone, Flappyhandski, Forehead, FrimpSong, Santos, Djourou, Bendtner, LegoHead, Camel, and probably controversially Sagna (this season anyway).
