Coquelin.
If he can add more consistent passing to his good tackling and intercepting then he will be a useful midfielder.
Not sure he will get more than 10 games though, or even if he will stay.

Chesney.....but he would be more likely to if there was half decent competition for his place. Whilst Flapper got the nod for a few games he is still a massive accident waiting to happen. Chesney has had it far too easy for a young keeper

Flappy is the worst goaly i've ever seen. He's like some big emo stressed out kid caught in the middle of trench warfare.SteveO 35 wrote:Chesney.....but he would be more likely to if there was half decent competition for his place. In my local league the opposition had a one armed goalkeeper! - not one hand, but one ARM!

It did provide one classic comedy moment though, when the keeper caught the ball from a corner and prepared to throw it out to their winger... our striker put up a foot, kicked the ball out of the keepers hand and slotted it into the net!

That'll get me through the day!

But seriously, he had two hands but only one arm? What. The. Fuck.

Outside of the obvious, you gotta look at Gibbs.
Monreal offers nothing, its his position for the taking for the next 5 years but he really needs to up his shit if he wants to lock it down

Seems a bit harsh to me. I'm not one for overplaying the old "first season" excuse to justify consistently underpar performances but I think Monreal has been by and large very solid and deserves a bit of leeway for joining in January.Number 5 wrote:Outside of the obvious, you gotta look at Gibbs.

And with Gibbs it's not so much a case of stepping up as ensuring he doesn't get tear a muscle every time he tries to cross the road or answer his phone.

Wilshere, his recent progress was slowed by injury.
This season want to see him dominating games and scoring goals.

I think Walcott could have an amazing season if he played upfront. It's clear CF is his preferred position. I remember years ago he ripped the net. He's got real venom in his finishing. His composure still needs a bit of work as does his decision making but he has made great improvements. I remember in 2008 MOTD presenters made fun of him week in week out criticizing his composure, and declaring he had no football brain. Today he's easily our second most important player. I Bale-like season is a bit too much to ask for but as I said if he played upfront I could easily see him banging in 20+ goals in the league.markyp wrote:I would seriously love Walnutt to have a bale type season where nobody can get near him and he puts the shits into the opposition,mi fed up with seeing him start a mazy run only to be brushed aside or run into a blind alley, despite this at least he's effective where it really counts,i just wish he would become the complete player

Vermaelan. He had a poor season and needs to improve quickly or we should get shot. I'm sure he's got the ability but his decision making was shocking.
