Sorry if this has already been posted but the victim forums seem to think Suarez release clause is for clubs who have qualified for the CL. We haven't qualified yet which is why Ayre and co have rejected our bid out of hand. That would explain why Wenger is prepared to wait. As Suarez is banned for 6 games there is not reason to push too hard now anyway.

Wenger is a disgrace with what comes out of his mouth. Arrogant and disillusioned. I can understand waiting for Suarez but he is just part of the jigsaw.
