Which is why the fact that our entire efforts in the transfer window are now focused on him is pissing me off.
In fact, whichever players we sign won't make a difference anymore. The problem is the manager. I'm convinced that Wenger could inherit the entire Bayern Munich starting 11 and still fail to win the league thanks to a raft of bizarre subs, weird formations, lack of motivation, resting players etc. We've tried so many different combinations of players since 2006 and had no success, at what point do people recognise the common denominator present throughout that period and realise that the problem is Wenger?
Great post mate! As you rightly say, Wenger is the problem.
And because of the way Wenger does things, the signings he brings in are almost an irrelevance in terms of how they change the dynamics of his team. Wenger moulds them all to fit into his way of playing. He no longer allows new players to change the style of play so any new signings these days are really just different masks on the same face.
If we buy Suarez, we'll still only finish 4th. I cant see anything beyond that.
And I wonder, if Wenger really is serious about buying Suarez (and I'm still dubious), it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was more about weakening a rival for 4th place as it was anything else. It would almost certainly keep Liverpool at bay for another year at least.
And in response to your question on the transfer thread:

Something like this?

Probably the ultimate example of where the minority were right and where it was the majority who had been brainwashed or misled into accepting the ideology of a megalomaniac.
Anyone who spoke out or opposed that evil regime would have been labelled traitors and unpatriotic etc. But in the end they proved to be the ones who loved their country more than anyone because they were prepared to risk their own safety to free it from tyranny. They are now viewed as heroes.
I know its jokingly said that people turning against Wenger are turning to the dark side. But in truth its the complete opposite. Anyone now seeing Wenger for what he is, welcome to the light - the truth has set you free!
