RvP for 24m too, a game changer in the same category as Bale. Admittedly we were held over a barrel a bit more with his contract being run down though.

I do mean that as well, even when posing for pics etc he doesn't large it like ronaldo for example does, he gives time for pics with fans wherever he is.

I hope that if he does go to madrid that he eventually eclipses ronaldo.....

Tin Hat on
Yup, he does seem a grounded young man... but then again, he insists on doing that annoying heart celebration whenever he scores for the scum, so grounded or not, until he fucks of out of their he's on my list of mortal enemies. :|
Yeah, I saw an interview with that chav arsehole Tubes  :x off soccer am and Bale came across as quite modest, shy, and a bit self-depricating tbh.

But I'm with g88ner on this one - while he plays for the vermin :x and does that stupid fucking heart celebration  :x I will continue to hope and pray he catches syphilis off a herd of gang raping Silverbacks.

Even worse than the money issue with RVJC was the fact we carried his useless perma-injured arse for 7 years, paying him huge wages and keeping faith with him for a return of absolutely fuck all during that time, and then the judascuntbag has one and a half good seasons and cashes it in for a move to the Filth.

I will say to my dying day RVJC is a dirty judas bastardhole cuntslop fuckrag and should never be forgiven (and certainly NEVER commended  ) for what he did. For the record, I also blame Sith Lord Venger for selling the bastard to the Filth.  :x

Fee for Soldado is £26m. I know they desperately needed a striker, he has an impressive goalscoring record etc but Daniel Levy would not have handed over that much money to a cash-strapped club for a 28-year old of that quality if he wasn't about to pocket a stupid amount of money from the Bale transfer.

agreed.

surely they must be selling chimpy otherwise they wouldnt be making these outlays. i cannot believe they would spend 50m+ on players without recuperating that cash somewhere along the line and chimpy is their only asset that will generate significant funds. surely they do not have 50m to spend as a war chest if they dont sell bale. if they do then this just fyrther highlights the problems at arsenal , where our non CL rivals, who have much smaller revenue streams are strengthening significantly whereas we are standing still. well all i can say is if it remains like this, we will not be getting 4th as spurs and liverpool have strengthened significantly.

i hope, and surely it must be so that to fund this spending bale is going, otherwise we are in trouble, what with the clubs refusal to invest in the squad,

Wenger comments on the issue:

Real Madrid's €100m bid for Gareth Bale is a 'joke', says Arsene Wenger

"It makes a joke of the financial fair play regulations," Wenger said of the offer for Bale. "I find it amazing that in the year the regulations come in, world football has gone completely crazy. You wonder what kind of impact and effect financial fair play has on the football world. It looks like it has made everybody worse than before."

Why doesn't he keep his fucking nose out?

Yes, Arsene it makes a joke of FFP regulations....but the joke is on you me old mucker because any of us with half a brain have been saying for years that they will never work. Firstly, its questionable as to whether they are legally enforceable and even if they were, again any of us with a brain bigger than a pea knew that all the top clubs would ignore them and force UEFA's hand. So we all believe UEFA will throw out Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, PSG, Monaco and Man City to name but a few in one year do we? What a load of old bollocks. The longer term damage will actually be for us when these clubs threaten to break away from UEFA's shackles and we don't receive an invite to the top table.

Doesn't mean he has to answer. Cos I guess he'd soon be lost for words if you stopped him in the street and asked him what the fuck was going on at Arsenal.

Nope it doesn't mean he has to answer, I was just pointing out that he was asked a direct question... it was not he who brought up FFP

If s***s keep the chimp?

Post by goonersid »

With the Suarez transfer looking dead in the water and doubts beginning to appear around the monkey boys move to Madrid. If they did manage to keep hold of him for another season, added to the quality signings they seem to have brought in, I would say that them finishing above us next season was a certainty.
What is more worrying, is that with all the comings and goings at chavski, citeh and the mancs, I actually think that the door could be open for s***s to make a realistic title challenge.
Thoughts!!
