1st game of the season plans...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Decided this season i am not doing no home games or hardly any, cost me roughly 6 grand last season and thats just the basics of going not including ale etc for the club to show no ambition, so i have took up shifts at work meaning i work every other weekend and i will be going to away games on the weekends i am off ,

im sure the club dont give a fuck i'm not going there is 100's of people who will hapily fill my seat,

This is what that manager and club are doing to our regular support. Ive got this man tickets for away games in the past so know he is a regular.
I too also take in away games but last year and this i have given half of my season ticket away (first time ive done this since i bought it in the mid eighties), simply because i do not want to pay the stupid prices the club charge, to see a team whose sole aim is to finish 4th...............You know the story.

I've decided to work this Saturday, I've lost so much money not working Saturdays to follow these bunch of wankers that I've decided enough is enough... Fuck 'em!!!

Well despite the doom and gloom and my feelings toward Wenger its my first year as a season ticket holder so I'm pretty excited.

-Ill be heading up to the Woodbine on Blackstock Road to catch up with a few mates.
-Then head to the game moderate early. Aim to be in the ground by 2:15/2:30 to take a look at my seat for the first time.
-Cheer on Arsenal
-Enjoy the 3-1 win and Wenger promising in the post match interview singings are coming ( giving me hope)

Fast forward to September 2nd:

-Hand in season ticket :barscarf:

Get up, other long suffering gooners, go to the 'Pins get a drink watch the game and after watching the same predictable crap for ages and just wanting the game to f**king end I look at my watch and realise it's only 3:05pm :banghead:    ..... :barscarf: :barscarf:

Having moved to France a few months ago I'm an hour ahead.............. I'll be up around 8am, spot of brekkie, shit, shave and shower. Check the transfer gossip to see all the signings other clubs are making. Then I'll probably go for a nice bike ride, get back around midday, do a bit of work (I work from home out here), then keep an eye on the BBC site or Sky for score updates through the afternoon. After 5pm UK time I'll try to get on here to abuse Wanger some more after we fail to beat a shite Aston Villa side.....oh, and I bet we get a bad injury first game.....possibly Jack dare I say it!! Big difference these days is my lifestyle now is bloody fantastic compared to the last 20 years plus in the UK!! Temps have been around 30 degrees plus for the last couple of months here, love it!! I will even take in my 'local' club a couple of times this season - Toulouse, try to spot the next one season wonder we may sign!! :barscarf: :barscarf:
