Bendtner; The Leg-end
Re: The "Nicklas Bendtner progress" thread
I'm not his greatest fan but if he is due to make a re-appearance on Wednesday, why do I get the feeling he's gonna make a goalscoring return???

Interesting Super Nic was on the bench against Stoke. Also his squad number has changed from 52 to 23, perhaps in an attempt to gain favour amongst the fans. Or maybe he's just taken a pay cut.
AW says he may start at WBA in the league cup. Exciting.

He scored a brace at the Hawthorns in 2008/09. We won 3-1 IIRC.Nos89 wrote:I'm not his greatest fan but if he is due to make a re-appearance on Wednesday, why do I get the feeling he's gonna make a goalscoring return???

When his name was announced over the PA on Sunday all I could hear around me was the sound of fans laughing. I think that says it all really.

I was there and a great evening it was too.... but I'm afraid there was hoots of derision all around me yesterday as his name was read out.

Hope you're all ready to be pleasantly surprised on Wednesday then, the man is back and I'm convinced he will go on to do you a good job this season when called upon.

Admittedly Bendy bollocks is trying to impersonate him with the beard and all...But I think there is something of a sizeable ghap between the braincell count of the two individuals...

But he did score the winner in a 2-1 against the scum, so he'll always have credit with me.
