Bendtner; The Leg-end

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm not his greatest fan but if he is due to make a re-appearance on Wednesday, why do I get the feeling he's gonna make a goalscoring return???

Interesting Super Nic was on the bench against Stoke. Also his squad number has changed from 52 to 23, perhaps in an attempt to gain favour amongst the fans. Or maybe he's just taken a pay cut.

AW says he may start at WBA in the league cup. Exciting.

He scored a brace at the Hawthorns in 2008/09. We won 3-1 IIRC.

When his name was announced over the PA on Sunday all I could hear around me was the sound of fans laughing. I think that says it all really.

I was there and a great evening it was too.... but I'm afraid there was hoots of derision all around me yesterday as his name was read out.

Hope you're all ready to be pleasantly surprised on Wednesday then, the man is back and I'm convinced he will go on to do you a good job this season when called upon.

Never mind Samurai, the word is that he tried to become a Sumo over the summer, a little too successfully.

The King of Denmark & Snoop Lion, Jah !

hardly career focused is he ?

The Arsenal have sent him to boot camp cos he failed their fitness tests. all while he's still on 55 grand a week. 220k a month, 2.5 million a year.... :banghead:

they should have the NFL rules, fail the fitness test. means no pay. and you keep taking them weekly til you pass.
But why are they playing rock, paper, scissors ??? :rubchin: :?

Mind you back then he didn't know how to play Rock, Paper, Scissors or score a goal....so...aaahh yess, uhhmmm wait a minute.... :rubchin: :rubchin: :rubchin:

Admittedly Bendy bollocks is trying to impersonate him with the beard and all...But I think there is something of a sizeable ghap between the braincell count of the two individuals...

But he did score the winner in a 2-1 against the scum, so he'll always have credit with me.
