As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Quite confused by people on here saying they're not convinced by Gnabrys performance today.
I thought he had a thoroughly composed game. There were times in the 2nd half when he was tracking back and got some timely challenges in, he took his man on and beat him (take note Walcott ), he played the simple pass when he needed to, and he wasn't intimidated by those Stoke thugs after getting shoulder smashed.

Well played, not the greatest game ever but you really did deserve it,no argument about that. Apart from the Huth block we did try and play a bit more but Arsenal are a quality side, even when they're not at there most fluent. Ozil(although he cost a fortune) in IMO,will probably become an AFC all time great, like TH&DB.
Its a shame really, despite all the media hype and different forums,I have no mithers with Arsenal. I did all my schooling in Croydon in the 70's&80's and although being a Palace area, everyone seemed to support the Gooners, so I've always looked out for their results, but that's as far as it goes!
Good luck in the PL&CL,got to go again,Hash is trying to Ring me.....ouch...
On the way back. Good win, average performance but so what. Been crying out for grind it out's. ''Banter'' with vile Stokie inbreds.....haven't been called a ''southern cockney poof'' for ages....bless them on their way back to Mordor!

It's good of you to come on here after a defeat scfc64 and say well done - so hat off to you for that
As already stated by many, not a great performance but a good win, Arteta back and top of the league - would definitely have taken that after the opening day.

Fair play to you mate, good on you. Balanced and well reasoned....unlike ''oatcake forum''......boy do they hate us on there!
Not a great performance but a win is a win.Thought Rambo JW and Giroud looked sluggish.Ozil was good and the Flamster doing what he does best doing the dirty work.He really has made a difference to our midfield.A leader and a fighter. How long have we been crying out for a player like him? yeah 2008 our last title challenge
A note of caution though in the corresponding fixtures last season against the sides we have played this season we won them all.The bigger tests are yet to come away to a top 5 club. And if we dont sign a striker in Jan Wenger should be shot
