And only the most blinkered fan would say Flamini hasnt improved our midfield. As for reckless challenges i would rather see an Arsenal midfielder get stuck in than pull out of tackles like Denilshit Diaby and Song used to
I agree with the need for a midfield enforcer don but I personally dont think re-signing this c*** was the way to go - people keep speaking about the need to just judge him on what he brings to the team now but would they have applied the same logic if we had of signed the chav c*** two years ago when we badly needed a left back ? I know that there are varying degree's of wrong but the bottom line for me is that flamoney was still wrong to go to a club where he was only going to be a bench warmer just cos he was offered more money there, when he could have gone to a club on the next level down and earned less but become a key player. People say that he was mistreated by the club but he was seeking 70k per week when the reality was that he wasnt worth anywhere near that

1989 suggests that flamoney could have taken offence to the idea of selling him to brum and that it might have sparked his upturn in performances but what does that say about the guy that after 3 years of average performances, it takes something like that to get him to up his game ?
For the record, and this might surprise some, but I felt at the time and still feel, that wenker was totally wrong to replace flamoney with the judas chav c*** for the champs league final. Leaving aside the fact that he had played a part in setting a new champs league clean sheets record, the key part for me was that the chav c*** had already met moaninho and declared interest in signing for them

What does it say to other players when c***s like him that are not committed to the club, are picked ahead of them ? People talk about the lack of class and regard that players show nowadays when it comes to playing for The Arsenal but incidents like this influence how you are perceived by the players - We as a club should have had a higher regard for ourselves instead of selling out principles and picking a player no longer interested in playing for us
