Flamini

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What is this? who fucked up the most? - so what if Armchair has had a change of heart (at least it shows he's not closed minded) and so what if SteveO spent the summer insisting we wouldn't spend £20m on anyone EVER before blowing that theory out the water on Ozil.

There's no kudos here - just enjoy our form (since March) while it lasts. The transfer window is closed and the BBQ ain't happening, so sit back and chill out.
Not you fucking too! I havent changed my fucking mind ffs.

Fuck me!
Oops - maybe I misread the posts  I retract my comment - leave me out of it  :o

Jesus Christ. You praise a player on this forum and the next thing you know you are the biggest AKB since JD ffs.

Dont see the difference in praising Flamini or Kos on here and cheering them at a game. Doesnt make me an AKB either way. Still want wenger gone yesterday. SteveO knows that. Dont know why he has insisted on posting that shit about me really. :? Oh yea i do. Its cause I disagreed with him.

Blimey, just read a few pages of that crap

Verdict: SteveO - what planet are you on? you can't go around accusing people of being a turncoat and Wengerite when you know full well it isn't true. That's below the belt fella.

Armchair - stop winding him up ffs! :banghead:

I recommend everyone goes to the Piebury Corner thread, there's still shitloads of mileage in lazy Itallian sterotyping to be had. :D

A turncoat wanker and a banner wanker too g88ner. But it was the Wengerite jibe that really hurt. Ouch!

Few mentions about Flamini not playing champions league final despite being part of record 10 clean sheets in a row.
Have to agree with others saying Cole had to start as far better left back. Senderos was part of record-making defence-should he have started ahead of Sol??!

As an aside, record was made with not only flamini out of position for many games but also Senderos and Eboue playing-remarkable!

Also have to say I find SteveO's accusation of armchair supporter being an AKB with no evidence of this to be quite amusing-especially given the avatar (armchair supporters) throughout the argument.

Have to agree in part with SteveO's argument though about fans who turncoat so quickly. Was comment on BBC site tonight when man utd went 1-0 up by a united 'supporter' claiming this should shut-up all the doubters

For the record, I'm Wenger Out unless we win the double this season, at which point I may re-consider my position.

As for SteveO, poor form mate.

Everyone knows i'm anti Wenger and i would have got rid of him 4 year ago but i think the signing of Flamini was a masterstroke. He is exactly what this team needs.I was fed up with a bunch of diddy men being outmuscled in midfield with no cover for the back four. And only the most blinkered fan would say Flamini hasnt improved our midfield. As for reckless challenges i would rather see an Arsenal midfielder get stuck in than pull out of tackles like Denilshit Diaby and Song used to

Ok. Time for the senior mod to step in. 8) My shite apprentices HlebbyDrugAddict and g88nerStitchBitch have let the side down on this thread but if you pay penis you get cock smokers. Or something like that.

SteveO and Armchair - we have let this bitching session run it's course. But you are both just repeating yourselves now. Please feel free to continue by PM, but I'll be deleting any further thread-hijacking posts from this thread. We have other members on here and it's not fair to let two people fuck a thread like it's a goat in county Cork.

I agree with the need for a midfield enforcer don but I personally dont think re-signing this c*** was the way to go - people keep speaking about the need to just judge him on what he brings to the team now but would they have applied the same logic if we had of signed the chav c*** two years ago when we badly needed a left back ? I know that there are varying degree's of wrong but the bottom line for me is that flamoney was still wrong to go to a club where he was only going to be a bench warmer just cos he was offered more money there, when he could have gone to a club on the next level down and earned less but become a key player. People say that he was mistreated by the club but he was seeking 70k per week when the reality was that he wasnt worth anywhere near that  1989 suggests that flamoney could have taken offence to the idea of selling him to brum and that it might have sparked his upturn in performances but what does that say about the guy that after 3 years of average performances, it takes something like that to get him to up his game ? :x

For the record, and this might surprise some, but I felt at the time and still feel, that wenker was totally wrong to replace flamoney with the judas chav c*** for the champs league final. Leaving aside the fact that he had played a part in setting a new champs league clean sheets record, the key part for me was that the chav c*** had already met moaninho and declared interest in signing for them  What does it say to other players when c***s like him that are not committed to the club, are picked ahead of them ? People talk about the lack of class and regard that players show nowadays when it comes to playing for The Arsenal but incidents like this influence how you are perceived by the players - We as a club should have had a higher regard for ourselves instead of selling out principles and picking a player no longer interested in playing for us
