Piebury Corner smashed up

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Anyway, IHH is a Sicilian and Bengleton is Italian so let's knock the jingoism on the head?

They were proverbials no doubt, and Roma have been animals in the past, but they are a minority of their countrymen.
Oh don't mind me. I hate those Italian bastardos!! 8)

If we have to take revenge for the Piebury attack, then surely there is only one man suitable and suitably named to deal with this.

Sadly, I'm actually lying in bed with a force 10 hangover. Getting too old for this drinking to excess lark!
I'll see if I can smuggle the chainsaw on the plane for the away leg!

Speaking of Piebury Corner (and specifically, their location on the corner of Avenell Road and Gillespie Road), am I the only one irked by the fact that they now cover up the Avenell Road street sign with their tacky 'Piebury Corner' banner?

I know we don't play at Highbury anymore, but I still insist on going to the Gunners pub and walking up Avenell Road as part of the matchday experience. As a former North Bank season ticket holder, I can always remember seeing the famous street sign when walking up to the ground, and to me, seeing the Avenell Road sign goes hand-in-hand with going to Arsenal. It's a famous landmark that should be preserved.

To see it covered up in the name of selling pies is really depressing.
