Poor performance, shit result. I hope this is a blip but we have some 'proper' fixtures coming up and we'll know how good we are soon. Very disappointing.

Not a shock that we lost (even though I thought that we'd sneak a win) but I have to say that I am shocked at how poor the game really was  I have really been looking forward to this game and thought that it would be a real end to end game played at lightening pace but the reality is that it was a poor game that rarely got past 2nd gear :(

Hopefully this game will end the Flamini vs Arteta debate. The Spaniard is poor, slow and looks over the hill.

Going to be interesting, Napoli and Dortmund away looks very dodgy, plus tough games coming up in the league, seems as soon as we play a decent side we get found out

yup. shame this game wasn't last Tuesday - before the AGM.

you can't blame the players - the formation, preparation and tactics were wrong. we only needed a point from this game, instead we gave 3 points to our rivals.

We now need an Away win to finish top. we'll deffo beat Marseille at home, but two draws in Naples and Dortmund ain't going to be enough now

we'll probably finish 2nd and then get Milan or Bayern and go out. yay us ....

Part 1 of the real test period = epic fail

More misery to follow in next week's proper cup game against the Chavs, a draw against Liverpool and inevitable defeat to United at OT not far away

Still fail to see how Wenger has corrected the major problems in the side - no proper striker apart from Giroud, an over cocky goalkeeper with no challenger and a down to the bones defence not supplemented in the Summer

The PL is more average than ever before so shit like Palace and Norwich won't exploit those weaknesses but a quality fearless team like Dortmund always will

out buying beer...awful defending from him not back tracking with one point in the bag with few minutes left......now we have to show how resilient we are in the next games

And that doesn't include Palace - possibly the worst PL team since Derby managed 11 points a few seasons ago. We way well be drooling over another midfield masterclass on Saturday lunchtime, but that will soon lapse when he surrenders one of the two trophies we can win the following week and then Liverpool's strikers expose our naivety on the break the following weekend

I agree, but still feel we dominated the 2nd half and that was a robbery, even if we were caught out on the counter yet again. I don't think that we did well enough with all our possession though, should have put their goal under more pressure than just one shot against the bar.
Santi added a lot more to the attack than Jack and should have played from the start imo. Ozil looks tired. Mourinho used to sub him every week as he runs out of energy.
And what was with wasting time bringing Gnabry on in the 90th minute?!

Going for the win is fine but going full gung ho premier league style in a European game is tactical fucking suicide :banghead:

Gibbs was left 2 on one, Sagna AWOL and what would have been a pretty decent point gets fucked away for nothing.

positives: giroud, rosicky, cazorla, kos.

negitives: sagna, wilshire, ramsey

really, really, really bad: arteta.

arteta slows our game down so much its unbelievable. our last 3 matches including this one, norwich and west brom we have been shit. slow build up and lucky to get some class goals against norwich that game. what's the common theme in those 3 games? Arteta back in the starting line-up.
