As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If that happens (yet again) Wenger will undoubtedly be offered a contract extension by Kroenke and the whole sorry affair will continue until 2017.
No longer is it VICTORIA CONCORDIA CRESCIT - now it's PROFICUIS ANTE TROPHAEIS (Profits before trophies)
or as the AKB's would say "Credimus in stultum insanire" "We Believe In The Mad fool"
I don't know about house of cards...But today 2/11/2013 can be a HUGE day in our season if the chavscum either get beat or only draw with the fatbelliedtoon and we DO beat the lead robbers - it can help return the air of confidence to the team who have on occasion this season played some amazing football.
We will miss Flamini's grit and marshalling in the mid-field - Arteta is still ring rusty (steady on now hashkads! ) - so we have to out attack the lead robbers...so it could well be a high scoring game.
The new deal will be offered to him regardless. He's doing the job Kroenke wants and nobody on the board has the balls (or the lucidity) to stand up for anything. He will never ever be sacked or let go, whatever happens he'll leave on his own terms.
The only thing that might prevent him staying is if talk of a new deal surfaces whilst we're on a bad run and he gets an absolute caning in the press with journalists, pundits and fans all publicly questioning whether he should stay. Nobody likes being criticised but it's such an alien concept to Wenger and the extent to which it pisses him and his God complex off is the only thing that might persuade him to jack it in.

If we start tonight with the same intensity as we had against Napoli, press them high up the pitch and move the ball quickly we could go on and win this one. If we start with the handbrake on, Dortmund will have the game sown up by half time.
2-1 to us or 3-0 to them, either way first goal massively important tonight.
