SOUTHAMPTON GAME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You're absolutely right although I doubt very much it'll be Southampton. They've only conceded 5 goals this season.

Gonna be a very tough game, hopefully sneak win, won't be more than one goal in it IMO.

They are a very good side.

If we turn up thinking we've got it won then it will be 1-3 to them.

Do your job Arsene do not let them saunter into this one.

I am very worried.

They play reasonably attractive passing football but they also have a manager that will and can change it up a bit if needed. This deffo won’t be a walk in the park for us. Either a 2-1 to us or a dodgy 2-2.... :|

It is though a game we need to win, particularly after the Manure result and the Mousers winning last week.

I hope that you are right, my friend.
I have this one down as 1------3

Wenger out thought, and his tactical ineptitude shown up, once again.

Haven't got the exact seat number to hand but 2 rows from the back and about halfway along on the right as you go in through the block 2 entrance. I bring the average age down by about 20 years and I'm not exactly a spring chicken :D

I might as well buy you a pint because the There's Only One fan club will almost demand it if we give them a stuffing

If you spot a bloke two rows from the back singing There's Only One Arsene Wenger pop up and say hello

SteveO, I hope you can make it to the Marseille game as I want to meet the legend himself. We can start off the One Arsene Wenger song as we practically secure our passage into the next 16 of the glorious be all and end all of world football. :barscarf:

Sadly mate, I don't think I'll be there as I have a list of more appealing alternatives to the CL group stage to attend to that evening ranging from clearing up cat shit from our flowerbeds, listening to six hours of back to back party political broadcasts from the Lib Dems and reading all twenty seven pages of my company's health & safety manual

However, if I do make it to this exciting occasion (was it really only 3 months ago that the Group started? zzzzzzzz).......I'll be sure to buy you a pint if I can break away from jerking off at the prospect of another dicking in the last 16
