Trouble in the stands.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Quite a few issues with Stewards in Block 5 where I was sat last weekend, few clusters of people stood up, causing no harm, and Stewards wading in, ended up turfing a few people out. Had a lot of insults thrown at them.

We really need safe standing now...

It's a shame that the tossers who get to decide if it happens or not think all football fans are violent drunks who love a good punch-up whenever the opportunity arises  :banghead:

Shoreditch holds funny memories for me. Couple mates and I spent a long night getting drunker post-game in some boozer in Shoreditch full of coke dealers and tracksuited wannabe coke dealers. Was after the 4-4 debacle against the vermin. Got some "you are getting killed" looks when we walked in but when they saw we were Arsenal they left us alone and went about their business of trying desperately to look hard and dangerous at the bar.

On the way there our Jamaican taxi driver had stopped to pick up "one extra, mon" and plonked a bloke in the front seat. Taxi guy asks him how it was going and matey boy gave it loads about being tottingham and having done the Arsenal scum up sweet with the 4-4 and how he fucking hated Gooner scum, most of it out of his mouth before taxi guy could let him know about the three drunk Gooners in the back. The spuds face was fucking priceless. He started making excuses and acting like a bitch but we just laughed and took the piss a bit, and he asked to be dropped off at the next corner.

Talking of the Mitchells ,the tosser that plays Phil Mitchell used to live with the woman that played Lisa Fowler in a converted House to Flat in Drayton Park .
He had a run in with a downstairs neighbor who appears to the untrained eye like a mad professor lanky streak of piss type, but is in fact one of the nuttiest and hardest fuckers I've ever known ,however at the time he was going to anger management classes to try and resist the urge to flatten people that annoy him ,and only ruffled Phils feathers a bit.
He was very chuffed at the time with his restrained approach to conflict resolution .
