Well I'm number 34203 on the waiting list. Could be some time! Only just over half the Emirates to not renew!
Ah well, on it until 2054 so gonna get there one day!

Doesn't really bother me tbh. I can gain access to a ticket either through my mate or using my silver membership for any home game.Dan_85 wrote:Have heard of numerous people getting this phone call recently, after dropping off the list or refusing an ST, AFC seemingly desperate to get you back on board. The fabled waiting list is a myth, I reckon it's only a fraction of what it was.
You shoulda grilled them harder on why they were so desperate to get you signed up again...
What would be more useful is the offer of a second silver membership. Then I could take some of my mates to specific games.

When did you last check, in 2004 when I gave up my season ticket and joined the waiting list I was around 35,000th. I cant believe the list is that long.Mrmark941 wrote:Well I'm number 34203 on the waiting list. Could be some time! Only just over half the Emirates to not renew!![]()

Arsenal update every season so you can find out exactly where you are.
Re: Season Ticket Waiting List
Exactly, i'm just a lowly red & can get tickets to just about any game I want, be it through official channels or through here/Twitter. The only benefit I can see of an ST to me is the ability for my away points to actually count for something & help get priority tickets for Euro aways or Cup Finals, but that last one isn't really much of an issue these days...nut flush gooner wrote:Doesn't really bother me tbh. Re: Season Ticket Waiting List
I was on the list for 6 years, took up the offer this season and you'll be pleased to know that my position on the list is still 13k!?
My mate joined 2 years after me and literally as we about to board the plane to Vegas in September arsenal rung him and offered him a season ticket!
Very strange goings on and I'm sure there is no rhyme or reason who they offer then to!

Re: Season Ticket Waiting List
I got offered my ST for this season having been 22k on the list...
I also received an email from the club yesterday stating the above, that I had lost my place on the list but would be added back for free. I could also transfer the waiting list position to a different name if I wanted to.
So not only have they tried to get me back on a waiting list for something I already have, they are also letting me put someone else on the list.
Desperate?

Here's a question - is working your way up from Red Membership the only way to get a silver? Or if you are a season ticket holder then hand back your season ticket do you get Silver also?
Re: Season Ticket Waiting List
Yes.skizz_b wrote:Here's a question - is working your way up from Red Membership the only way to get a silver?
Nope. If you give up your ST, you're left with nothing and you have to buy a new Red Membership and work your way up from the bottom of the ladder again. Some reward for loyalty eh?Or if you are a season ticket holder then hand back your season ticket do you get Silver also?

Re: Season Ticket Waiting List
Yes, great reward. Joke!
I'm considering joining the list but at this rate I think I'll get offered one in 5 months time!

Not sure if this is still the case but i got a silver membership around 5 years ago as i became to old for the junior gunners and had been a junior gunner for more then 3 or 4 years.skizz_b wrote:Here's a question - is working your way up from Red Membership the only way to get a silver? Ah yes, great point. just reminded me that is the other shortcut to silver.jacko-arsnl2 wrote:Not sure if this is still the case but i got a silver membership around 5 years ago as i became to old for the junior gunners and had been a junior gunner for more then 3 or 4 years.skizz_b wrote:Here's a question - is working your way up from Red Membership the only way to get a silver? Not strictly true, as I have said bondholders can get silver membership, bit of an expensive way of doing it though !skizz_b wrote:Here's a question - is working your way up from Red Membership the only way to get a silver? Also buying a bond automatically puts you at the top of the season ticket waiting list, you can basically buy a ST when it suits you. Not that its any real perk.

Re: Season Ticket Waiting List
I joined the ST waiting list in 2008 and at the beginning of this season I was offered a ST which I took up. When I joined the waiting list I was told it was 15 years long which has proved incorrect. Also to note, when I was offered a ST I was 19,000th ish on the waiting list so there's plenty of slack in the take up.
Re: Season Ticket Waiting List
They just pick people randomly i'm sure. The last few years i've been 24k, 13k and 11k on the list and still haven't been offered one despite hearing numerous reports of people higher up the list than me getting them. Not that i'm really fussed tbh. Was convinced they would offer me one this summer just gone but the call never came. I didn't have the money anywayAngle Grinder wrote:I joined the ST waiting list in 2008 and at the beginning of this season I was offered a ST which I took up.
