Season ticket waiting list

This isn't about a season ticket but Silver membership. Does anybody know how long you can expect to wait to be offered a silver membership? I have had red membership since about 2005 I think, but I'm guessing people hang on to silver even if they don't often go to games as it pretty much guarantees them the big games if they want to go to them.

Well I'm number 34203 on the waiting list. Could be some time! Only just over half the Emirates to not renew!

Ah well, on it until 2054 so gonna get there one day!

When did you last check, in 2004 when I gave up my season ticket and joined the waiting list I was around 35,000th. I cant believe the list is that long.

I was wondering about this too. I've been a red member for 5 years now know I've still got a long wait yet! Doesn't really bother me though as I manage to get a ticket for nearly every game I want to go to whether through my membership or purchasing aways off members on here.

Here's a question - is working your way up from Red Membership the only way to get a silver? Or if you are a season ticket holder then hand back your season ticket do you get Silver also?

Not strictly true, as I have said bondholders can get silver membership, bit of an expensive way of doing it though !

Also buying a bond automatically puts you at the top of the season ticket waiting list, you can basically buy a ST when it suits you. Not that its any real perk.

I would have said the same but my brother moved over to London after living abroad for years a few months ago. Was able to pick up a half ST through the club that started from Cardiff game onwards and will pick up a ST hopefully next to my Dad as the one we used to have there seems to be used by a different cretin every week.

I think (unlike the season ticket times), this one probably really is 15 seasons of waiting or even more (20? 25?), such is the slow rate of movement of silvers. Effectively you're waiting on people who just plain forget to renew their Silver, or who emigrate to another country...or worse....Everyone else is going to renew that Silver and it's a finite club.

Is silver membership the same as red pricewise?

Not sure if this is still the case but i got a silver membership around 5 years ago as i became to old for the junior gunners and had been a junior gunner for more then 3 or 4 years.

Im many years beyond that, even with Bilbo Bagginses ring I wouldnt get in
