So Rooney goes off on at least three expletive-laden rants and boots the ball away, and still doesn't get booked? Special treatment? Clattenburg - who is an utter *word censored*, by the way - is just making up the rules as he goes along.

the sad thing is that you know Wenger is happy with that.

plus he won't change anything at half time, he'll rely on our patience and quality - unless another 'accident' happens, or we are 'wide open and niaive"

even if we win 1-0 its still not enjoyable - what happened to our 'swaggering cavaliers' ?

It's not even about us having a world class striker imo, it's about our style of play. Everything is so slow, it's like we purposefully go out there, let them put everyone on the 18 yard line and then try to pick our way through. Where is the pace, the urgency? Watch us when we do actually have a chance to break, no fucker bothers to sprint up there to support the lone player who actually has the ball.

Infuriating. Still, thank fuck Arsene Wenger has us playing beautiful football eh? :banghead:

Dreadful game, but can't moan - we're level at half time so happy with that. We're usually better in the second half of games which bodes well 8)

Fucking atrocious. Standard big game performance, thankfully they're as shit as us on the ball tonight.

Typically tactically clueless display from Wenger. No tempo, no tangible threat and they are closing us down further and further up the pitch. After 40 minutes we have a throw in on the edge of our own box and our lone striker drops back to the touchline 30 yards out from our goal to receive it, unbelievable. Means we have no options up front and allows them to press much higher and more aggressively, and sure enough they won the ball back in a fairly dangerous area on the back of that (although it thankfully came to nothing).

If it stays the same it is going to be the case that a dreadful mistake or incisive counter-attack is going to win it and tbh I don't have any confidence it would be us taking advantage of either.

I know we're not going to win the league but wouldn't it be fucking lovely to stick the knife into this shower of pricks and see van Judas lose his head?

clattenburg is a little *word censored* pussy as a former member would say.

bltant penalty for everton agains scum and he didnt give it.

is it just me, or is anyone else concerned that the scum could be right alongside us if they beat us at the swamp.

how they keep wining is beong me when there mostly shit bar loris and a motivated adebayor.

why can someone break his legs.

we have to beat united, again simply far to much respect. the team/manager have mental block.

Absolutely right. When the opposition are low on confidence, you need to blitz them right from the off. We, on th eother hand, just walk around and let them play their way into the game like a village cricket team lobbing down easy deliveries for their mates to get their eye in.

FA rule book 101 - England's golden boys NEVER get booked unless its unavoidable. Terry, Lampard, Scholes, Neville - all carriers of the "brand" . if they don't play, the FA doesn't sell shirts.

I remember the days when Petit would get booked just for giving the Ref a look.

Couldn't care less, mate. If you offer me a boring 1-0 win, I'll grab it with both hands.

I'm not fussed about entertaining games. I just want to be top of the league again!!

Anyway, I was brought up in the Graham era and results were all that mattered. As it should be :barscarf:

As if signing Diego Costa or the like is gonna miraculously solve all this? He ain't gonna pluck 30 goals out of thin air while we persist with this style of play.

Still, a draw is good enough for the virtual trophy I guess

nil nil at home against a very poor united team is nothing to be pleased about. we should be beating them based on their form this season. this will be a draw. 0 - 0
