That was the most boring fucking shit I have witnessed Arsenal play. Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass to Giroud, lose the ball, pass, pass pass etc. What a load of cock. :banghead:

I was one of those who caved in and bought a ticket for the Bayern match next week, and I am regretting it. Not only am I certain to see my team get dicked before my very eyes, I am also funding that sponges new 8mil a year contract.

Arteta's still costing us. And will continue to do so.

People can argue all they like about how fixtures across seasons are incomparable because 'conditions, teams, timing' differ across seasons but the fact of the matter is, you'd expect that sort of stuff to average itself out across 21 matches.

I'm not saying we were better last season, but we most definitely haven't improved. Today showed it.

Is this the same stat trotted out a couple of days ago or a new one. Hope its a new one as I'm sure we drew in this fixture last season

Predictable, Pedestrian and Pathetic ,Gutless and Guileless .
Chez sez we had mental strength ,WTF we almost lost !

Poor preperation
Zero tactics
No attempt to bring on a proper striker

Then pushing Sonagol onto the subs bench in front of gnarnaby ,criminal !

first time this season we haven't taken advantage of teams around us slipping up. We have blown it. For 45 mins vidic and Ferdinand played like it was 2008. That's all it takes. Quite why he never threw on someone who could challenge these two battle scarred old defenders. Should've sent on one of bendtner/podolski or sanogo instead of chamberlain and gone two up front. Giroud ran out of steam after 80 mins. Turning point in the season. Simply, with no ramsey, Walcott we've run out of steam.

Worst utd side in over 20 fucking years and we still can't beat them.
I really do fucking despair, where do we as fans go from here? this senile old fool is going to sign a new contract and we will have to endure at least 3 more fucking years of incompetence, lies and arrogance.

Watched the 2nd half in a pub last night and thought, but wasnt sure, that I heard loud booing at the final whistle last night and a couple of papers confirmed it. Some Gooners will no doubt claim that it is a disgrace for a team lying 2nd to be booed off and no doubt that our cocooned board and players will be surprised, but this reaction has been on the cards since 11.01pm on Jan 31st - we all knew that the lack of signings allied to the inevitable collapse was going to draw an angry reaction from the fans and I dont think that we have seen the last by a long way. Should we go out of the cup on sunday then there will be major unrest and if he rotates his squad on sunday and it contributes to that defeat (ahead of the upcoming bayern dicking) then the man may need a police escort afterwards. If we dismiss the possibility of knocking bayern out of the champs league (which I believe all sane Gooners have) then the worst possible result for us would be an honourable defeat - if we are to lose then I want us to take a right beating so that it will show le cock how far off the pace we are in europe, plus it would hopefully allow him and the players to put their focus on the more important domestic competitions.

Only positive from last night is that united are as shit as us and 14 points behind so won't get top 4 or catch us. Liverpool look like they will though.

On the other hand too many negatives to list, predictable but still so disappointing

More pearlers from arseblog this morning -

"an Arsenal side set up to ensure they didn’t lose, first and foremost. Regardless of how bad the opposition are, that’s an approach I understand after such a dreadful result. When your confidence is shaken, sometimes you need something of a sideways step before you can go forward again"

A step sidewards he calls it  Quite how anybody can defend the notion of setting up a team that is going for the league and is playing a team that is woeful at the mo, for a draw is beyond me - at this stage of the season you dont win leagues playing not to lose and especially against a team that is losing points against shit teams nearly every week
"Arsene Wenger resisted the temptation to throw caution to the wind – sensibly enough, I think – and there came a point in injury time when you could see that Arsenal had decided to take the draw, and not to get stretched. It felt frustrating, because we were on top, but I could understand it too"

Apparently we only decided in injury time that we had decided to be happy with a draw - I must have missed the part when we really tore into them looking for all 3 points :?

Worst 90 minutes of football I've watched in a long time. Shockingly shit game. How Arsene can defend that is beyond me.

Can't believe there are people on here picking out this player or that player as having been shit. THEY WERE ALL FUCKING SHIT! :banghead:

Ozil was lazy, sloppy and totally not arsed. Santi has run out of ideas. Rosicky gave the ball away with nearly every pass. Arteta's legs are almost gone. Mert and Kos are now afraid of their own shadows. Gibbs and Sagna offer us NOTHING going forward. Giroud is knackered and missed two fucking sitters. Wilshere couldn't stay on his feet, beat his man or pass straight all game. Chesney's stupid unecessary pass to Arteta almost cost us an early goal. The fact he got man of the match for one good save says everything about that match.

Top all this with a manager that sits and watches the same tippy tappy slow motion shite for 90 minutes without changing tactics, and leaves our best finisher on the bench, and puts a perma-crocked awe-struck amatuer footballing postman in the squad ahead of Gnabry who has shown real ambition to attack and shoot when on the ball, and you have a recipe for the unambitious cowardly inept bitch performance we witnessed last night. :x

I can accept failure, I can accept mistakes - what I cannot fucking accept is cowardice, inability to admit mistakes and try to correct them and repeating those same stupid mistakes game after game, year after year. :x :x :x

Make no mistake we were top because for once the fixture list benefitted us and because Ramsey and Giroud and one or two others had a good spell of form early on against the relegation fodder teams. That is all gone now. The easy games are gone. The form is gone. We cannot beat anyone in the top 4 or 5. We are the only team in the top 9 that haven't beaten the shitest most inept Manure side in 25 years, a side that are now managed by a small club buffoon with a job way above his capability. We were humiliated 5-1 by a Mouser team that struggles to beat Fulham and has been themselves humiliated by teams that will be relegated or near relegated this year.

That was our season last night. It's over. We will lose on Sunday (or certainly in the next round if we scrape past the Mousers) and we will scrap it out with the vermin and the Mousers for 4th. Again. And more of the same next season. And every season until Arsene Wenger is gone and Ivan the Terrible and Sir Chips Wizzbang-Smythe and the be-wigged spendthrift cuntbag Kronic Kroenke are all fucking gone with him. :|

Negative? No. Fucking realistic. :|

Why does Wenger impart such child-like psychology on the team? If we want to be champions tonight was a gift and a chance to send out a real statement by sweeping aside a fallen giant.

Now I'm not advocating going AWOL at the back or shipping in 5 again but it was obvious from Wenger's set-up and words that we were obsessed with not getting raped at the back. Should not even have been a concern. Worst thing is it's not like he commits to it tactically - we play the same team, formation and tactics, just have a generally more negative mentality and commit far less going forward.

whilst there are enough people like you then expect to see no change at the club.
you are not only funding Wenger's new contract, you are ensuring that he will get one.

Why isn't there a single journo with the balls to throw several questions at Wonga like 'Why do you always play exactly the same'......'Why do you never make subs until the 70th minute'........'Why do you play players badly out of form'........'Why do you not prepare for you next opponent'.........Jesus, there are probably a hundred questions to put the senile old muppet on the spot and yet no-one does it????

Arsene FC are fucked, completely. May as well just end the season now and say we have a CL qualifier in August to play. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Can't condone that tripe last night. We looked shit scared and Arteta did nothing for their "nerves" after just a few minutes. I can't believe how poor Arteta has been as of late.
