At least a season or two in the EL would give us some interesting trips.
Spot on mate, in our current state the CL is a load of old shite.Every year were seeded 1 in our group but cos we never manage to win the group we get a harder draw in the last 16Dan_85 wrote:Same old story in the CL. We exist in this state of flux where we're just good enough to scrape in to the CL each May (thank fuck for Koscielny at Newcastle eh?), secure the £40m but never bother to use it to give us a fighting chance to win anything. Screw up the group, get dicked in the L16. Rinse & repeat.

Cant really argue with any of that.TeeCee wrote:How sad is it that so many people are thinking Yaya is doing pretty well........yes he's been 'ok', but that's a real indictment of the crap we've been used to with Giroud for much of the season. Yaya hasn't really threatened the goal at all in two games!! We are so desperate to see someone up front who is a genuine threat and a bit exciting, a perma crock ligue 2 player is actually looking an ok option!!![]()
Fact is, there isn't another manager in the CL who would have dropped their 'no.1' striker for last nights game and put in a young, inexperienced, just back from injury league 2 player, not one. Wonga had to massage his ego and prove a point, regardless of the cost, only he knows best. Why didn't Poldi, or even Barry Bender get a game? They are much more experienced!!
The management of Arsenal stinks, really stinks, because it's all about one man, all about the ego, all about proving a point. We really are watching Arsene FC these days.
You forgot Chamakh. As we speak, Wenger is having his scouts scour the world's leagues for another big git, techically terrible front man who scores 1 in every 25 chances, if that.Clash wrote:Cant really argue with any of that.TeeCee wrote:How sad is it that so many people are thinking Yaya is doing pretty well........yes he's been 'ok', but that's a real indictment of the crap we've been used to with Giroud for much of the season. In Wenger's reign we've gone from watching Wright, Bergkamp, Anelka, Henry or RvP ... to Giroud, Bendtner or Sanogo
Its disgraceful how Wenger has gradually lowered the standards and the expectations, while at the same time the ticket prices, the clubs bank balance and his own salary have gone in the opposite direction.
Totally agree with you mate.Dan_85 wrote:Same old story in the CL. Only Milan was an absolute travesty, losing 4-0 to that pile of shite rates as one of our worst ever results. A real low point and frankly the Ox's face-saving heroics in the second leg were nothing of the sort for me, should have stuffed them out of sight.

I know that redaction can claim to have originally been set up to improve atmosphere but can it be said that it is still their sole target ? Have they enjoyed being perceived as the voice of the fans since though both in terms of meetings with the club and also when the media (sky) look for someone to interview ? If they are happy to enjoy the perks then surely they have to be willing to take on the responsibilities that come with it ?
Nobody from REDaction has ever been interviewed on Sky - I look forward to your apology.
I have 600+ posts on this forum, and if I could be bothered to go back and check, most of these are probably in reponse to you spouting some inaccurate shit about REDaction - Just let it go mate - I don't like you either, but as I know nothing about you I have no further comment to make - which is better than just coming up with some statement which is incorrect.augie wrote:TheCook wrote:Cor, you can make up any old shit you like to discredit REDaction can't you?augie wrote:Probably a bit of both DB cos you are def a fcukwad![]()

What is the maximum amount of times you have to correct someone before you stop being polite and gracious when they admit their error? The bloke is a Mod but his agenda and inaccuracies are bullshit - But he's in the clique so it's OK.topgoon wrote:He apologized, might be gracious to accept itTheCook wrote:I have 600+ posts on this forum, and if I could be bothered to go back and check, most of these are probably in reponse to you spouting some inaccurate shit about REDaction - Just let it go mate - I don't like you either, but as I know nothing about you I have no further comment to make - which is better than just coming up with some statement which is incorrect.augie wrote:TheCook wrote:Cor, you can make up any old shit you like to discredit REDaction can't you?augie wrote:Probably a bit of both DB cos you are def a fcukwad![]()

"Poison"? Seriously? Sliiiiiiiiiight over exageration there...TheCook wrote:Look at the history of this forum - to name but two, Tim Stillman and Andrew Mangan have both had to register as users and post messages in response to some of the bullshit and accusatory posts about them - exactly the reason I had to sign up years ago. How many others have had to do that? This place is poison - the only reason I have to keep coming back is to correct bullshit posts like Augie's. Will it stop him? Doubt it.
