just when you thought that it couldn't get any worse, I have just read that the fixtures will take place over a newly created "international week". so there is now a situation with even more boring international fixtures being spread out over a number of days. unbelievable.

one of the problems with football these days is the growing phenomenon of playing matches all at different times.
for me it basically killed off the last round of the FA Cup and then there are the Europa league matches on Thursday nights.
The number of matches is often given as a reason why fans hate the Europa League but that is actually not the main reason. The biggest problem is Thursday nights = league matches on a Sunday night. If I didnt hate Spurs so much I would probably feel sorry for them
