FA CUP TRADE OFF POLL

Also, with Wenger going it would have the added bonus of clearing out a load of window lickers, *word censored* and mongs that follow us just because he is our manager...

Win the cup, he can finish on a sort of high, end this drought and then just fuck off and put and end to this era of failure.

Of course the answer has to be "no", but I can imagine this place alone across the whole Interweb would have a bunch of people daft enough to think "yes" is an acceptable answer 8)

This really is a tough decision to make - I obviously want us to win trophies again but at the same time I don't want another 3 days with wenker in charge, much less another 3 years

Because we have sooooo many mongs supporting the club now, I have no doubt that a sizeable number will feel that an fa cup win will vindicate wenker and will justify giving the man another 3 years as manager   People say that losing the cup wont have any influence of our hopes of seeing the man gone, but I will contrast that by saying that winning the cup will without doubt convince him to stay another 3 years

We'd have a better chance of winning the FA Cup, (that Wenger himself has historically sacrificed and treated with utter contempt) if he would leave right now.
I might just have a shred of respect for him if he did that.
But I doubt it.

the poll is not one based on the real world but an ideal world, everybody knows Wenker will never ever walk,we all bloody know that but its about what if it could happen, cant understand anybody would want to win the fa cup if the reverse meant hed leave, again this is not the real world we are talking about so vote and post accordingly.nobody in their right mind would want us to not win in the real world that we live in,but this is not about that

I want the FA Cup this season. As fans the biggest joy is winning trophies (well it is for most of us anyway!?), having a great day/piss up at or watching the final and the memories of that staying with you forever. It's been too long since we have had that feeling.
I agree with your sentiments. but after so long without a trophy, what difference would one more season make, and think of looking forward to next season, with old man Wenker not in the dugout. That would fill me with joy and allow the club to move on
Well the ideal scenario for me would be to win the FA Cup in Wenger's last game. He then leaves us with at least some dignity and Klopp comes in :barscarf:

And a puppet of a manager beneath him, who allows him to handle all transfers :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :suicide:

Klopp for me 2, but unlikely as just signed a new contract with Dortmund...but if you offer him what Lord Wengers on it could turn his head... :barscarf:

No, he can be ambushed by Usmanov now his assets may be frozen and told by DD to retire on a high the next day, a sort of win win. :rubchin:

Oh yeah the FA cup a competition Wenger couldnt give two shits about for nearly 10 years. And a trophy the club thought was unworthy of a town hall parade in 2003 and 2005.

I want Wenger out

I think an interesting poll would be whether we'd all take finishing 5th for one season to see wenger gone.

I don't want him gone, but if you'd accept Thursday night football for a season to see him out, then you really must be anti wenger!

Absolutely I would. Wenger gone, a season out of the groundhog borefest competition we cannot win, and me coming home to find Kelly Brook lying starkers on my sofa, because apparently all good things come in threes
