FA CUP TRADE OFF POLL

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Would you trade off our chance of FA cup success for guarantee that Wenger would quit.

I would agree with this. Honour for club far more important than my desire to see Wenger gone. I hope he now realises he has lost the plot but a trophy win is always welcome.

Nope.

Ideally, we would win the bugger and the selfish *word censored* would resign,,,,, BUT WE WILL NOT WIN IT  mark my words.

I want him out yesterday, tomorrow or at the latest on Tuesday.

I want the feel good factor of playing well, competing In every game, being tactically aware and above all winning. Alas, this multi millionaire is not the bloke to give me that.

I'm normally as pessimistic (realistic  ) as the next guy but how in gods name will we not win it ? :? We are left with 3 teams one of which is 2 divisions below us, one of which is 1 division below us, another which is fighting relegation from our division and all of which our ladies team would beat

I know that we have had a rough few weeks but it would take a monumental fcuk up not to win it this year and even we are not capable of fcuking up that much

Augie.

We will NOT win the bugger because Wenger is in charge of the team and TACTICS. Simples.

Birmingham, Ipswich, Burnley yada yada yada.

Mister fucking imperious is so far up his own arse, he expects to steam roll EVERY opposition with his tried and tested, yet bollocks formation and lack of tactics. We shall NOT WIN the FA CUP this season.

Shame, but true

If we are to fuck it up, I think it will be against Wigan, Rosler seems to be a shrewd manager, with tactical nous. He will have taken on board and try to exploit our tendency to not turn up in the first half of big games, if that is the case in this game then we will be out of the cup by half-time.
Add to this Wenker’s likely starting line-up, Flappy yet to have his mare and our lack of fight, then the more I think about it, the more I become convinced we will fuck it up.

I am putting all my hopes on Fabianski
Chesney ALWAYS bottles the big occasion games - Fabianksi has let in only 1 goal v Spurs, Coventry, Liverpool and Everton so far

We need that monkey off our backs.............let's have the FA Cup.

At least then we won't have to listen to all the "Arsenal, who haven't won anything for......." shite that seems to follow our name in every interview/press report etc.

I wonder if we'll then start to hear about "Tottenham who haven't won anything for 6 years"?

Having said that, I think we're going to manage to fuck that up too!

Y'know, sid, I wouldn't be surprised if Flappy is keeping his mare for the FA Cup final (if he plays).

But my money is on Flamoney. I've said it since he came back that he'll cost us in a big game, and I've an awful feeling it's gonna be the FA Cup that Flamoney costs us by having one of his immense brainfarts. And before the Flamoney love-in brigade (or "FLIB" as I like to call them!  ) get their knickers twisted around their necks, yes he has done well in some games and yes he adds some steel and some energy to our midfield. But we are talking about a bloke that concussed himself diving into a nothing header out by the touchline near the halfway line....

I stand by my assessment/prediction he will cost us big in a big game and now I've this sickening feeling it'll be either the semi or the final of the FA Cup. :|

I want Wenger to leave end of season.
I voted NO, because it all depends who would take over.
