City match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Really depends which Man City turns up. If it's the City of the last two weeks, then they'll win by at least two goals, but if it's the woeful City of February, then anything's possible. I'm going for a 3-1 City win.

0-4 and I hope those boos echo in the players' and Wenger's ears for days afterwards.

i thought that the crowd were very supportive of the team last night and I hope that everyone gets behind the team on Saturday as well.

however when we are 3-0 down in the second half it will be a great opportunity to let Wenger know what an increasing majority of people think of him.

I hope citeeh give us another hammering for following reasons -

1. dont want the chavs or scousers to win the league
2. dont care about top 4
3. want to see wenker being driven out by any/all means necessary

Now if the senile old c*nt announced in the next few days that he would be leaving in the summer then my feelings will alter slightly in that I would hope that we do get in a proper manager that will spend the available money and I wouldnt want him to be handicapped by no champs league football - I still want citeeh to win the league though

Really difficult to envision anything other than a City win, here; it's Sod's law at the moment for us: Anything that can go wrong, will.

We're on a terrible run of form and all confidence we once possessed has been completely sapped given whats transpired over the past couple months.

Just to forewarn you all, there is a very real possibility that the unstoppable and rampant bulldozer that is Yaya Toure will be given free rein to run at/around/and through Mikel Arteta.

Can you imagine the carnage?

1-3 City.

I am considering how much money I should put on City to win - this must be the bet of the season :rubchin:
(they are currently 11/10 to beat us. double your money time)

It should be 4,5-0 to city.

But let's see the team sheet first - I have an irrational feeling he'll actually change it up this time and we'll win.

This may very well be the game that breaks the camel's metaphorical back. He won't lose his job but another occasion of GBH and there will be no way back.

I can't see anything other than a heavy City win and if Everton don't slip up we're well and truly buggered as we won't win at Baddison Park.

UEFA Cup here we come.

if there was anyone available to change things then he would have done so last night.
when Kallstrom and Sanogo came on I realised why he didnt. there is no one he can bring in who will be able to make this team play any better - that is why things are so bleak.

I'm too depressed to even think about this one today. Seriously considering giving the game a miss
