FA CUP TRADE OFF POLL

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Would you trade off our chance of FA cup success for guarantee that Wenger would quit.

I'm too lazy to actually click on a voting option but, whilst I get the "for the greater good concept", personally I'll be going for the FA cup win on the basis that, regardless of whatever hypothetical reasoning anyone posts on here ahead of time, once that game kicks off (assuming we even get there) surely there's literally no chance any of us will be hoping for anything other than an Arsenal win. If anyone can genuinely say they wouldn't instinctively go batshit mental if/when we score a last minute winner in the cup final then let's just shut this shit down and call it a day.

Tempted :| However, we are fans and for the love of the club we want trophies, 100 years down the line we would be remembered for winning a trophy this year. Trophy haul is the true measure of any top club in any top league so we need that silverware now more than ever.

Would it paper over the failings of Wenger? Not any more, everyone can see he is a joke.

I have a feeling that Wenger will rest players in the FA Cup for the match v West Ham a few days later because nothing will be allowed to get in the way of his pursuit of 4th place.

the criticism he will get if we dont get to the final could well finish him off.

We arent exactly blessed with options in terms of resting though - With the possible exception of the full backs and Giroud, the team more or less picks itself....
