City match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Gibbs is better than Clichy and there's no way Mertesacker/Koscielny don't get in next to Kompany ahead of Demichelis.

Walcott is more of a threat than Navas and on form Ozil is superior to both Silva/Nasri. Also, Ramsey would have to be there next to Toure instead of Fernandinho.

I cant see anything other than a savage and very heavy beating here, they have attacking options aplenty we have the lardy pinball machine

Flamini & Arteta will have to earn their corn tomorrow or they'll be pulled apart as City have so much power in that area.

Oh for the days of Paddy Long-Legs & Petit. :(

Kick-off is at 2:30am my time, doubt I'll be getting up to watch us get pounded in the ass. I've seen enough of Wenger flapping his arms in his technical area while we are getting hammered to last a life time. :(

Arteta will be booked and/or sent off in this game. He is an utter cart horse and will be run ragged by city. His speed of movement is only beaten by one thing and that is his speed of thought which is even slower!! Arteta shouldn't be anywhere near this team.

Agreed. He's past it now, slow and sloppy of late. Will be off in the summer I reckon.

Hearing Aguero travels for them and might even start. Nailed on loss again I'm afraid, obviously I hope I'm wrong but it's got to the point where I couldn't really give a shit either way.

Looking forward to them knocking 3 past us and the lesbian grabbing one before doing the 'shhhh' celebration.

Where'd you hear that?

Just yesterday Pellegrini said "Aguero needs one more week".

Pellegrini saying it means he may play before then, Wenger saying it would mean his season is actually over.

Hope aguero does play, each time he's come back from injury he has been poor in his first game

don't criticize a striker who can hold the ball up, and lay it on for a running midfielder. it's that ability that pele and maradona had that single handedly won them world cups in their career  :banghead:

Just put a few quid on that happening actually - I have never in my life backed against my own team but winning a few quid is the only way to numb the pain of our woeful performances :(
Doesn't stop me feeling dirty though
