As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Obviously it's not palatable no matter what but it's
City
Chavs
Liverpool
as my order of preference.
Totally agree with Rodders, every word i know one of them and he says there will be a huge party if they win it.The run they have been on has reminded me just how much I despise the *word censored*.As a fanbase they are bad winners I feel nauseous at the thought.
I had a text from a Liverpool friend on Saturday who said that I wouldn't believe how our equaliser on Saturday was celebrated on Merseyside. He reckons that (they are becoming increasingly arrogant as usual) will have won them the league.
I think that we went to Anfield 8 points clear of them last month

Brendan Rodgers has got a team full of English players playing really exciting attacking football on a much smaller budget than City and Chelsea.
REALLY?
Jose Enrique -Spain
Kolo Toure - Ivory Coast
Daniel Agger - Denmark
Luis Alberto - Spain
Iago Aspas - Spain
Phillipe Coutinho - Brazil
Victor Moses - Nigeria
Mamadou Sahko - France
Sebastien Coates - Uruguay
Aly Cissokho - France
Lucas Leiva - Brazil
Simon Mignolet - Belgium
Martin Skrtel - Slovakia
Luis Suarez - Uruguay
Yep! All good old English players!
Once upon a time, Jack Charlton would have ensured everyone of them qualified to play for Oireland!

Also, Liverpool have spent over £278m in the past 5 years (Chavs have spent £412m and Citeh £512m)
so they've not exactly been working on a shoestring budget!
During this time we have spent £172m
I didn't say their entire team was English but they are regularly playing Flanagan, Johnson, Henderson, Gerrard, Sterling and Sturridge (six players) compared to City who only have Hart and the Chavs who only have Terry and Cahill regularly.
In terms of finances, the figures you've quoted show they've spent £234m less than City and £130m less than Chavs - pretty significant, no? Also those looks like gross spend and I expect on a net basis they will look better given they got £50m in for Torres. Plus their wage bill is far lower - probably has gone up this season but still a lot less than City and Chavs.
Who will win it ? Sadly it looks like the scousers to me
A few seasons ago the fat Spanish waiter cocked up their league challenge (they should have won it imo) by playing too cautious and settling for draws - on Saturday citeeh did the very same thing against a team that they should have torn apart. Sometimes managers over think things and playing for draws might work in spain but in engerland the mentality has always been to go for wins and I fear it will be an expensive lesson for pellegrini to learn
All the momentum right now is with the victims and with so few games left this will be a big factor. If the victims are still flying high when citeeh go to hubcapland then I cannot see citeeh getting anything from the game. Citeeh are powerful ball players but they lack the pace and intensity to cope with the victims and their fans imo

Chavs nett spend is £284m in 5 years
Citeh's is a tidy £367m
and Victim FC's nett spend is £83.2m over the same period
Also, Liverpool have spent over £278m in the past 5 years (Chavs have spent £412m and Citeh £512m)

The scousers may have spent around that but in that time they have got about £186m back on transfers so a net spend of about 92m in 5 years.
Arsenal have actually spent around £197m in that time and have recouped 170m (what a disgrace, £27m net invested in 5 years)!! No wonder the board love Wonga and want him to stay!!
Wage wise, Arsenal were at £143m last season and Liverpool were at £119m, hell, our wages were at £124m the year before last!!
We won't win it, so out of the other teams I would prefer man $hitty....the chavs are crunts and hope they die...and if the victims won it - we would have to endure all those gobshite scousers mouthing off for the next 50 yeeeeeeeeers!
