Doesn't bother me at all tbh. Players and managers clearly appeal for cards all the time but it only seems to get people's tails up when the imaginary card is waved..LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:Liverpool just got a pen and Suarez again is waving the imaginary card about, refs do know that this is in itself a bookable offence don't they

Regardless of whether it doesn't bother you personally it is against the rulesLDB wrote:Doesn't bother me at all tbh. Is it? Does it count as dissent?LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:Regardless of whether it doesn't bother you personally it is against the rulesLDB wrote:Doesn't bother me at all tbh. I completely agree with this. Is it fundamentally different to telling the ref to book a player?LDB wrote:Doesn't bother me at all tbh. Hopefully the scousers luck has finally run out

Re: Weekends games, 5th and 6th April
About time they had some bad luck. Fuck them.
Surely be some kind of an anniversary this day next year if they don't go on to win this match

Another two penalties? Fuck me what with it being the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough next weekend if a City player so much as breathes on a Liverpool player the ref will be pointing to the spot or we'll be hearing cries of FA, government and extra-terrestrial cover-up.topgoon wrote:he gets his hand to the ball before Flanagan falls over and yet Taylor gives a penalty Jesus f**king wept![]()

No way were Liverpool lucky today. No of course it wasnt a penalty but did you see the Carroll challenge. The ref evened things outnorthbank123 wrote:Another two penalties? That's the thing though, the ref felt the need to even things out because he knew if he didn't he would be taken apart in the press for weeks and that if it ultimately cost Liverpool people would go on about it for years. Much easier for him to just give a soft penalty and this is shown by the fact there would be 3 times as much debate and outrage if he had just made the 1 mistake and it had ended 1-1.donaldo wrote:No way were Liverpool lucky today. No of course it wasnt a penalty but did you see the Carroll challenge. The ref evened things outnorthbank123 wrote:Another two penalties? Some of you guys really would be better of at Untold Arsenal, where conspiracy theories are a part of their staple diet!!
Perhaps the fact that Liverpool players actually get into the opponents penalty area is a reason why they get more than we do?
